I’m running three cameras at the world’s first space bubble concert with the #FlamingLips in downtown Oklahoma City. The show is starting in about half an hour. 
This is me.
The floor is a 10 space bubble by 10 space bubble grid. Each bubble may contain one person or two or maybe three. There’s a fancy high frequency supplemental speaker inside each bubble as well as a water bottle, a fan, a towel and a “I gotta go pee/hot in here” sign.
The rules are pretty straightforward. You can have your mask off inside the space bubble, but it has to go back on if you leave the space bubble. You roll your bubble to the exit and unzip it at the door 🚪 to leave.
If, in fact, it gets too hot 🥵 inside your bubble it’ll get refilled with cool air. How you ask? Leaf blowers, baby.
Holy shit. Baby 👶 Bloom was just handed to Wayne, and he’s getting a wee little tour of the stage.
In one minute, people are gonna start walking in.
The test begins... n-n-n-n-n-now!
There was — what I believe to be — the very first space bubble concert marriage proposal. I believe it was successful but hard to tell from up here.
Just hit the hour mark since people started entering bubbles.
I love the people who clap by punching the top of their bubble. There’s no real way for me to hear the audience. I’d estimate 5-6 bubbles have taken bathroom breaks.
Wayne says 20 minutes of show left. He said he’s gonna check in with the crowd between each of the final few songs. “It’s a strange and unique experience.” Amen.
It’s over, man.
I almost forgot my favorite part of the show. This Mario Kart thingy was able to broadcast Wayne’s face onto the big screen behind him.
