The solution is simple. Give us our data. Let us control our data. Let Americans enjoy the concept of intellectual property, private property and admit that our usage, movement and opinions and content have value. But that won't happen.
If I assemble digital data into a photo, drawing, patent or book I can protect it as intellectual property. If I lay out a complex collection of ideas, geolocations, comms and content it is sold to malign and commercial actors. Your reputation and life can even be remanufactured

There is the ability of AI to actually predict where you will be, who you will call, what you like/don't like what you will buy. They can also reverse engineer into manipulating you into thinking something is bad or good, or creating a silo'd environment to skew your judgement.
