This senator wrote an op Ed because he’s furious that his former book publisher canceled his book after he led an effort to overturn the results of the election.
He says he was muzzled.
But he has since found another publisher who will publish his book. So, muzzled?
Simon & Schuster said this of its decision to drop the book: "We did not come to this decision lightly," the publisher said in a statement. "It will always be our mission to amplify a variety of voices and viewpoints; at the same time we take seriously our larger public...”

“Simon & Schuster still has an indirect role in the release of Mr. Hawley’s book, since it is the distributor for Regnery’s books in the U.S., meaning it delivers books to stores...”wsj.com/articles/sen-j…

This was hard to watch.
It happened in Oregon.
A man went on an Anti Muslim, racist attack, inside of a gas station & it was caught on camera. He destroyed merchandise, & threatened the 68yo store employee who sounds terrified, but is okay.
The suspect was arrested.

BREAKING: Puerto Rico’s Governor declares a state of emergency to deal with gender based violence on the island which has become a deadly epidemic in recent years.
People in Puerto Rico have marched over this, cried out about this, & asked for this for years, from multiple administrations, and this governor @pedropierluisi is doing it.
The question is: will this government now be effective in bringing about change that makes the island safer? The state of emergency opens the door for money and resources to be dedicated to this cause.

GRAPHIC: Video, posted more than an hour ago, shows a police vehicle rolling over someone in Tacoma, WA at 9th Avenue & Pacific. Another video I’ve seen, purported to be from the same scene, shows someone yelling they’re hitting a police car.
This is another video with a different angle of the incident which happened in downtown Tacoma - that is 34 miles southwest of Seattle

Report: Under the previous secretary of corrections in Puerto Rico, inmates were not provided surgical masks, nor was anyone allowed to deliver them masks, reports @riverasaniel. He quotes the incoming secretary of corrections, under new Governor @pedropierluisi, as saying that.
The inmates are going to be given surgical masks, according to the incoming secretary of corrections.
Inmates were given cloth masks but not the disposable masks. The incoming secretary has said she will provide disposable masks which are better, in terms of protection, especially for inmates who are within closed environments, constantly.

Larry was the King of asking short, soulful questions.
Growing up as a kid, Larry King Live was appointment viewing for me. Getting the chance to work around him was a highlight of my life.
He was game for just about anything, but not everything. His impatience meant interviews were never boring.
Even into his 80s, he was competitive & inquisitive. He and I were having a conversation one day about people he’d love to meet. Best I recall, there was no one.
That’s because he had met, and or interviewed them. I told him I had a dream of meeting @DrMayaAngelou. He said, “you want to meet Maya?” He then reached into his pocket and pulled out his flip phone and dialed someone.
