1/5 As California's stay at home order is lifted..this is the latest on the fight against Covid according to firsthand knowledge from people on the front lines. Longitudinal studies through 2021 will latently tell us the final word.
2/5 but I am consistently told that open-air business is not a significant cause. Covid positive rates is massive in multi family apartments and condos where the internal habitation Census is between 5-14 occupants per dwelling (these are two bedroom max habitations)
3/5 people squeezed-in..mostly working poor/service workers..are showing 25-43% positive active COVID. Also antibody studies showing positivity rate of persons who have already had Covid are 3 to 5 times higher in multi family squeeze together versus single-family houses.
4/5 Also a contact tracer relies strictly on what the person wants to tell them, while Covid relief worker makes firsthand observation. Many times a person doesn’t want to get family/friends in any sort of trouble or start the domino effect, so the tracer doesn't get true story
5/5 "Adam positivity rates in certain apartments/condos is in 45% range. Will be interesting to see if there will be such a phenomenon as rapid micro herd immunity. These neighborhoods filled with the working poor that are micro neighborhoods have been ravaged by Covid."

1/4 Well before you criticize and take my time...get your facts straight. I have reported a ton on this including three different times the virus likely mutated and that it didn't come from a random bat...a story that CNN and Fox would report 2 days later without citation.
2/4 Just a few weeks ago I had health professionals on the front lines contact me...I know them from 21 years in news and 17 nationally. They were in favor of the lockdown last spring, but were reeling from the current one. In short...I reported: "Confidentially; in our micro..
3/4 communities the positivity rate in the last two weeks is out of control four times that of suburban. What are they have in common they’re packed inside of small apartments and condos. What does that mean to you and I?
There’s no fresh air. I’m telling u Adam, there’s a reason

1/7 Now onto Covid. While one extreme denies and the other panics...there is a middle for most of us and some states have found that. California continues to be a complete mess handling this...as I mentioned a few weeks ago, I had a few health...
2/7 professionals on the front lines who suggested the shutdown would actually make things much worse. Unlike mid-March to mid-May...it’s colder now outside, darker much earlier and “Covid fatigue” has people not being as diligent.
3/7 They spoke on the condition of anonymity because they fear for their jobs. They worried that multi-family households and poorer households would suffer most..and that is what we are seeing. NOW I get this from a prominent Covid location..doing great work in a very rough time

1/5 As a kid I found a book in 4th grade in the little library at Yountville School. It was about Satchel Paige. I was enamored. I couldn't understand why there was a different league because of color, especially since my school had kids of all colors who played everything..
2/5 (cont) together. I would read the book multiple times and remember dreaming about going back in time and making them all play together. Years later while sitting in a dugout in Cedar Rapids Iowa for pregame a man stood next to me. His name...Bob Feller. I got the chance to
3/5 talk about the "old days"...including a few quick memories about playing against the Negro Leaguers. It wasn't as long a conversation that I wanted due to the ceremonies which included him...nor as in depth...but it was memorable for me to hear his thoughts on it all.

1/6 ok here we go: you guys know my affinity for FBI field agents and the work they do every min of every day. You also know the frustration that exists with many of those agents and many of you with FBI headquarters...now this.
2/6 This is no October surprise...this actually falls flatly on the back of the FBI that failed to address this beginning more than one year ago and came out now also due to a series of keystone cop decisions by Republican staffers to flat ignore this family for months.
3/6 I am a reporter and I now have direct knowledge of the timeline and other info. Throughout this entire process JP and his family...dad is a Vietnam Vet...have done everything by the book. They were first rebuffed in September 2019 by the FBI...that’s no October surprise.

1/6 Spoke and exchanged emails with a prominent attorney and a judge today about the ramifications of the alleged conspirators withholding evidence in Flynn case. While neither would directly/specifically address the merits of the case, they did indicate that if it is found
2/6 that they knowingly, purposefully, withheld exculpatory evidence, that would put them in significant “world of hurt. The Brady Rule (derived fromBrady v. Maryland, 373 U.S. 83) requires prosecution to disclose any “materially exculpatory evidence in its possession” to defense
3/6 Previous cases where the prosecution purposefully withheld evidence has resulted in a range of (for lack of better terms), penalties. These range from (during trial) a judge providing instructions to the jury, to outright dismissal of a case, to sanctions against prosecutors

1/4 The mother of former soldier detained in Venezuela Luke Denman says this to me and please retweet: Kat Denman, Mother of Luke: “My son Luke is a decorated soldier who served his country for many years. He left the military in 2015 for married life and the last we heard he
2/4 had been employed at a tree farm and had recently been doing commercial diving. This was his his first assignment for a private security firm headed by a colleague of his he trusted from their time together serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
3/4 I can only believe he didn’t know what he was getting into. All I know is I want my son home but while he is in Venezuela I want I want him to be treated humanely. I am reaching out to the Red Cross, human rights watch an amnesty international and asking them to check in
