Disturbing video shows an Osceola Co. FL. school resource officer body slam a student to the ground. The student appears to be standing with her hands behind her back when the deputy slams her down, her fact hitting cement. She then appears unconscious.
The Osceola sheriffs office said in a statement: the incident took place at Liberty High School in Kissimmee. It appears to have happened between classes in the hallway. The deputy was in the process of trying to stop a fight when he took the student to the ground.
Here is a different video which shows a different angle and 8 or so seconds before the deputy slams the student to the ground. urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https…
The statement from the sheriffs department doesn’t saying anything about how the student is doing.
“deputy then straddled the student & pulled her arms behind her back to place her in handcuffs as another deputy approached. The student remained motionless on the ground as she was handcuffed & did not appear to regain consciousness during the encounter.”

CBS affiliate @news6wkmg asked the school district how the student was doing. The response was: “Because of student confidentiality laws, I am unable to release any information about the student.”
