These “important farm bills” were passed in a din, not allowing any discussion, negating voting & suspending MPs who demanded a vote.
All this in a tearing hurry in the midst of a raging pandemic.

All parliamentary procedures were violated, refusing parliamentary committees' right to scrutiny, winter session cancelled yet claim passage after “extensive deliberations”.

Hon’ble President always reads the address prepared by Union Cabinet at the first joint session of the year.
Dignity of the highest office in India has been lowered.
Shameful.

All Constitutional Institutions are being undermined. Destroying Indian Constitution and changing the character of our Republic.
This will not be allowed.

The voluminous Economic Survey robs the relevance of this exercise. Instead of informing the people about the state of economy and future direction for recovery this is self congratulatory based on dubious reasoning.

There’s no recognition of the humongous economic recession. Focus is on ‘regression’ which is due to the pandemic.
ES is a propaganda & spin exercise obfuscating disastrous government policies.

Established facts inform people that the economy was plunging into a recession much before the pandemic struck, mainly due to the twin disasters of demonetisation and GST implementation.
On top came ill prepared lockdown destroying the economy.

The three farm laws must be immediately repealed. The PM must make the announcement. (1/n)

The situation has been brought to this pass by the Modi government. Farmers have been protesting peacefully in the cold for more than 60 days, not allowed to come into Delhi and more than 100 Kisans are dead. (2/n)

Violence in no form is an answer & is unacceptable. A govt which smears dissent, BJP’s troll army vilify those who ask for their rights, ministers make wild allegations, law officers make claims without basis in court - this is no way to deal with legitimate demands of our Kisans
