When I think of my favorite scenes from video games, there are several. First up: when Donald Duck cast zettaflare on TerraNort in Kingdom Hearts III. What a hero.
Next up: the Midgar Zolom battle from Final Fantasy VII. I remember being PISSED that I died when I first played.
Sad Bowser who tried to ram his way into Booster Tower on Super Mario RPG. My first experience partnering with Bowser.
The calm lands of Final Fantasy X. Most people remember the thunder plains, but that first scene over the calm lands cemented itself in my mind. I hate everything about battling here, but I do remember it.
This god forsaken galaxy on Mario Galaxy. I lost a whole weekend to this shit.
This scene. We’ve all played it. All of you are probably better at it than me.
Final Fantasy XIII. Fang and Vanille. We all cried. If you say you didn’t, you’re lying.
Sorry, one more. When I beat Super Mario World, I remember wanting to find a way to hook my SNES into my computer so I could print this scene. Didn’t have the tech then, but what fun this would have been on my wall!

The Satan Pit is def on my list of favorite Doctor Who episodes. The Big Bang is absolutely my favorite, though. It’s what I watch when I need a warm hug. The Logopolis series is a close 2nd.
While we’re on the subject, my other favorite #DoctorWho episodes: The Time Heist (Jonathan Bailey as an augmented human 🥵), Heaven Sent (duh), The Keeper of Traken, Nikola Tesla’s Night of Terror, and The War Games. Adric is my favorite companion, but I don’t love Full Circle.
I’ve seen arguments that The Eleventh Hour is one of the best. While it IS awesome, not my favorite. Also, I make this assertion while watching The Beast Below. Honestly any Doctor Who is good Who.
