The world in which we were born, which is man-made, is bad for our health. "Progress" was originally used to describe the intersections of Capital and "technological innovation," which has always been the sick obsession of delusional, cowardly, rich men.
It's no longer uniformly used this way, and is often employed with flippant regard for the word, its history and meaning, which leads to confusion: The Tower of Babel.
So, humans made a world that is callous, confusing and lonely. How and why?
This world responds predictably to crises, by exacerbating them.
When a personal tragedy arises in the midst of stifling dysfunction, it can dramatically alter the course of a life. The cumulative, long-term impact of these manifold crises will be profound.

"Why are there so many
Songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions
But only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide
So we've been told and some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong wait and see"
"Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me
Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star?"
