1 in 5 voters think Trump won the election, and Republicans are divided➗ evenly down the middle.

Check out our findings on post-election divides and impeachment here 📎: echeloninsights.com/in-the-news/ja…
Almost all of the 20% of voters who believe Trump won the election were unmoved after reading the facts. Only 5% reversed course and responded that Biden was in fact legally elected🗳️.
Republicans have shifted from supporting Trump over the GOP: 48% support👍 the GOP over Trump, while 38% said the opposite. In October 2020, only 30% supported the party over Trump.
If the 2024 GOP presidential primaries were being held today, Republicans would choose Trump to be the nominee by 7 points. Among college-educated🎓 Republicans, however, the preference is to have another Republican candidate by 15 points.
If Trump were not to run in the 2024 primaries, Pence would be the favorite🥇 with 21% supporting the former VP. Donald Trump Jr. and Nikki Haley are close behind with 10% and 9% of the vote, respectively.
Over two-thirds of voters disapprove of Trump's response to the election and to the unrest at the U.S.🇺🇸 Capitol. In contrast, a majority of voters approved of Biden's response.
67% of Republicans and 89% of Democrats said they would be less likely to vote☑️ for a candidate if they praised the actions of those who stormed the Capitol.
Republicans are more in favor of barring🚫 Trump from holding public office in the future than impeaching and convicting him through the Senate - just 21% support the latter, while 30% are in favor of the former.
A majority of Trump Republicans believe that the goal🥅 of politics is not to enact good public policy, but rather to ensure the survival of the country as we know it. Only 38% of Democrats and 31% of Independents feel the same.

1. Dems highly favor int'l cooperation, but their views split on use of military force. Republicans who back military force are also in favor of int'l cooperation.
2. Voters agree on having a high-tech military that uses drones to target terrorists, but disagree when it comes to increasing the size of the military and backing regime change in foreign countries.
3. Voters want America to continue backing its allies and tackling global issues such as the environment, but are less certain about providing foreign aid and support to democratic movements around the globe.
