There's designs, curations, and a bunch of stuff that I hope y'all find useful and can spring board off of!

There's also stuff from fellowship work I did last Fall so feel free to take a look there and use that too if it helps

I hope these starting points help kickstart a ton of divergence over the next couple days in #roamcult. I'm down to host a call Friday evening if people are down where we can hash stuff out and converge our designs. Hand it in together and split the loot as Team Carbon.

Roam Web search relies heavily on a concept I called `Networked Aliases` if you're interested.

This is very very much an iteration 1. Onboarding for a product as horizontal as Roam is a tricky problem. Steal all my shit unabashedly! I've def done so from some of the greats @houshuang @RobertHaisfield @rsms this evening! countless more during the actual fellowship

But hopefully with enough remixing and divergence over the next couple days, we can hash stuff out over a debate later this week and get some non-crappy stuff

The thing with attempting roam designs is that it's devilishly hard to get something that feels "The Roam Way", and very aware that this stuff needs some iterations & remixes from #roamcult before it gets it right

A recent example is the way notifications are being done in roam. It's fucking brilliant and def rings true of following "The Roam Way". It's so different from existing notifications that it feels very weird at first but eventually its obvious how much more powerful it can be

Honestly what this really needs is: spending some solid time just working backwards from what the problems really are and just letting the problems simmer in your subconscious for a while.

Highly suspicious this problem can actually be cracked by some remixing over a couple days
