Growing up I hated school because if I didn't know something I was made to feel stupid. I had ADD so I wasn't like other kids around me.
Learning in Public has been made exciting for the first time for me thanks to @RoamResearch and a little prodding from @Conaw.
Before tonight I was really intimidated when it came to CSS styling. So I tweeted about reverting to a workaround before Roam added the ability to just use markdown to make a header line.
When the markdown option was released I didn't like it cause it was thick and ugly...
But really I was just angry because I didn't know how to change the CSS.
I'd looked a few times but not found anything that worked.
- After some prodding by @Conaw
- 30 minutes of free time
- A few Google Searches
- Trolling @Mappletons site...
- And doing a search on the Roam Slack.
I combined a few code blocks deleted some formatting and TADA!
To most people, the weight of a line is whatever (Jeremy get over it!), but to me not knowing how to change it was crippling.
Figuring this little thing out feels so empowering.

A thread about upgrading your @joinClubhouse audio if you are a musician or voiceover artist and already have a vocal setup.
1) Let's start with the gear used in this setup:
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd Gen) USB Audio Interface
(It doesn't have to be a 2i2 but they are pretty popular. Though if you are using a 2i2 it does need to be a 3rd Gen. to use the control software.)
