Forty cross-party MPs and peers have urged the University of Huddersfield to close a master’s course it runs at the Royal Academy of Policing in Bahrain, after allegations that political dissidents were being tortured in the same building.

theguardian.com/education/2021…
“Huddersfield will not say how much it is being paid for the course, which was inaugurated by Prince Andrew in April 2018 when he was the university’s chancellor. It says the course is in line with UK government policy and will bring about improvements in Bahrain.”
“However, the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy campaign group (Bird) has collected testimonies from 13 individuals arrested for political activism, who say officers abused them during interrogations in the academy where the Huddersfield course is based.”
“Some report being electrocuted and beatings to their genitals. Four have reported sexual abuse.”

Universities MUST VISIT the places where their accredited degrees are delivered.

They REALLY SHOULD be alert to intelligence that things are amiss

Eton sir sacked accuses masters of putting its 'soul' at risk

This teacher didn’t want any of this woke feminist rubbish taught at Eton
Oh no

Former pupil & Tory peer Lord Bellingham, warned a dining club of 45 alumni were incensed by the sacking.
dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9…
“Radical feminist orthodoxy” being taught there according to this father of five who apparently has his own You Tube channel.

What’s the betting he’s a mate of Lawrence Fox?

“Craven response to a cancel culture”

“APPEASEMENT”. Image
Will Knowland. Anyone heard of him?

All those lying women making false rape claims who maybe should make sure there was an independent witness and video recordings of the rape to provide independent corroboration before they were raped. Image

In JULY SAGE scientists gave a stark warning about the risk of relaxing restrictions “Christmas could result in explosive outbreaks across the country....., at a time when almost all social interactions take place indoors.”

They all knew. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…
“The scenario accurately predicted the flattening of infections during September - and the huge spike in November - when the seven day average reached almost 25,000 cases.
The scenario agreed, it said, "reflects a difficult autumn followed by a large winter peak..."
Less than a month later, the government launched a campaign to encourage the public to return to working in their offices.

On September 1, Boris Johnson boasted: "People are going back to the office in huge numbers up and down the country — and quite right, too.”

🦠🦠19,114 new cases, but - due to the huge use of LFT now I find it hard to know where we really are.

But deaths and hospitalisations are falling.

⚰️⚰️⚰️1014 (28 day cut off) deaths

⚰️💔⚰️💔128,376 COVID deaths (by date of death) - an undercount due to notification lag.
🏥 admissions 2596 on 1st Feb but England has dropped 200 more since then.

🛌 IN hospital 30,508 on 3rd Feb but England has dropped nearly 2k in the subsequent two days.

VENTILATION 🛌 3572 on 4/2/21. Also dropping.
VACCINATIONS 💉

11,477,040 vaccination doses delivered to 10,971,047 people

505,993 of them have had two doses.

480,560 doses delivered yesterday.

That really is a great effort.

But - please- can we have some surveillance data?

I’m having a spectacularly bad day, in a spectacularly bad year, part of a spectacularly bad three year run.

I feel as if the tiniest push and my whole internal flood defences will burst.
Look what @bmay played for me. His own composition

So you can all listen.
And @other_mrs left these in my doorstep.

I am so touched.

Thank you!

Up to 100 UK children a week hospitalised with rare post-Covid disease

12-15 a day since early January.

Evelina hospital records showed that 60% of the 107 cases of PIMS they had treated up until 13 January were black African or Caribbean children.

Israel has also reported a larger number than in the first wave and wondering if this has an association with the prevalence of the B1.1.7 U.K. variant.

Or is it just that Israel & the U.K. let the virus run out of control?

Material when it comes to unlocking the lockdown
📌78% had no underlying health condition.

📌 67% were boys

📌 Average age 11

📌Range 8-14 years.

📌 22% tested positive for Covid when the PIMS materialised. (It is mostly a post Covid syndrome)

Very interesting PHE report summary from @ADMBriggs

The very marked dip in Care Home incident is very welcome & encouraging

Is this lockdown effect or vaccination effect or both?

School incidents still high.

ICU rates falling in England - but not everywhere eg Midlands.
In the Respiratory rolling surveillance flu yet again got a big fat zero.

This is happening remarkably all around the world.
