06/02/1952 Proclamation of accession of HM #QueenElizabethII We @TowerOfLondon would 'normally' fire a 62-Gun Salute, in honour of the occasion. We Yeoman Warders/Beefeaters are all members of the Royal Household as members of the Yeoman of the Guard, in Extraordinary 🙂
06/02/2017 HM became the first British Monarch to reach a Sapphire Jubilee. @RoyalMintUK marked the 65th anniversary of her accession with a range of specially designed Sapphire Jubilee commemorative coins and, @RoyalMail issued a Sapphire Blue £5 stamp @BeauBritain 👍
