Let's take a moment to talk about how incredibly OFFENSIVE these tweets are. These tweets, which started a couple months ago, ACTIVELY PAINT A DISTORTED REPRESENTATION OF THE LTC CRISIS UNDERWAY (something I've been pointing out since she first started tweeting them).
2/7.
They ignore the growing # of daily deaths (which now amount to losing a senior every HOUR IN LTC).

They also ignore the fact that we have more homes in outbreak than at any point during the first wave.
3/7.
She tries to pull your focus to homes with no cases or less than 5 cases BUT WHAT ABOUT THE RECORD NO. OF HOMES WITH 50+ CASES⁉️

E.G., Jan 19 stats:
53 LTCHs w/50+infected staff/residents;
29 LTCHs w/100+infected staff/residents;
25 LTCHs w/150+infected staff/residents;

...96 of Ontario’s 626 LTC homes have been outsourced, where the owner of the license has contracted a third party to operate the home. As of publication date, there have been 506 COVID-19 deaths in outsourced homes- 34% higher than homes that have not been outsourced.
Outsourcing is most prevalent among for-profit homes, but it happens across the industry: of the outsourced homes, 61 are for-profit, 30 are non-profit, and 5 are municipal.

What I love most about @DrFullertonMPP & her team (⤵️) is that they won't respond to me but instead they go around me to those in my circle in the hopes those people aren't tracking their failures IRL time like I've been (in order to combat their nonsense).
1. I call your bluff: LIST THE HOMES YOU ACTUALLY DEPLOYED THESE 20 RED CROSS TEAMS TO.

List them.

...because I can only track those (on less than one hand) that have been sent this aid.
2. Let's talk some truth @JustineLewkowic

You only called in Red Cross (release posted Dec 23).

Homes like #TendercareLTC, Sunnycrest or St. George, Craiglee didn't even receive this support that YOU HAVE AT YOUR DISPOSAL.

So I've become close with many in media/public advocacy and I want to let you know that some of these individuals ARE NOW BEING DIRECTLY CONTACTED BY @DrFullertonMPP's office about some of their "TWEETS" (which are critical).
SO INSTEAD of responding to families emails......and to PSW organizations offering support........and to myself & @dolybegum inviting her to come hear out #TendercareLTC families, she has chosen to instead email public figures in the hopes they will stop being critical.
This is the person in charge of our seniors friends.
