Dr. Li Wenliang - who spoke up about the coronavirus early on, was silenced by Chinese Communist Party authorities, and later contracted COVID-19 himself - died one year ago today.
(The Chinese Communist Party is evil.)
Dr. Li Wenliang makes an appearance in my cover story from last April.

The U.S. is not in a Civil War nor a Depression. There is civil strife, from violent protests to the Capitol siege, & the pandemic & lockdowns have devastated many businesses & jobs, yet it is the job of journalists to report using accurate terminology & without the dramatics.
Double byline on this story, yet Rahm Emanuel is allowed to claim blatantly false things. Not a single line in there to point out that the U.S. is not, in fact, engaged in a civil war nor going through a depression.
Also, Rahm Emanuel lists five things, so he actually should've said "F, all of the above" if we're doing the Scantron thing, but that's not the main point here.

Fauci says the infection rate when looked at over the past 7 days (Trump's final days) may be plateauing.
Fauci says the coronavirus mutation in the U.K. seems to have twice the transmissibility, tho it does not appear to be more deadly on a 1-to-1 basis. He says the South Africa & Brazil mutations seem to harm the effectiveness of the monoclonal antibodies that have been developed.
Fauci says it does not appear that the South Africa strain of the coronavirus is yet here in the U.S.

DOJ said “we don’t expect any charges of that nature” when asked about incitement related to the storming of the Capitol. FBI said “we have no indication of that at this time” when asked about claims from some Trump supporters this was fomented by Antifa.

While sweeping for pipe bombs, cops found 11 Molotov cocktails & an M4 carbine in Lonnie Coffman's truck. Coffman had 2 handguns too. He told cops the 11 mason jars were filled w/ a mix of gasoline & melted Styrofoam, which DOJ likened to homemade napalm.

Johnny Lawrence did nothing wrong.
sorry i just discovered Cobra Kai on Netflix
Great reminder here that Johnny Lawrence got a warning for his illegal elbow to the knee but Daniel LaRusso was allowed to win with an illegal kick to the face. Must've been some SEC refs out there in Reseda.

People are unfollowing me too, but I’m pretty sure it’s because I keep tweeting out that Fight Song video.
I have lost 1,000 followers in the past day because I bravely contend that ABBA is the greatest rock band of all time.
I’m not afraid to tell y’all the truth. 💪

IC ombudsman Barry Zulauf: "The analysts appeared reluctant to have their analysis on China brought forward because they tend to disagree with the administration’s policies, saying in effect, I don’t want our intelligence used to support those policies."
