Grace is not "do as you like God will pardon you". Many subconsciously see grace as pardon "where sin abounds, grace (pardon) did much more abound"

Listen. Grace can be received in vain! Meaning without effect. Not producing what it came for.

Even if you swore to be righteous of yourself you couldn't! But God had a plan -- Grace!
He knew the heart of man is wicked, so He devised a plan to change our hearts. Bcos sin comes from the heart.

Jesus came & broke the yoke of sin. Now in Him, we're no longer slaves, no longer helpless to sin.

The Spirit of Grace teaches us to deny ungodliness & live self-controlled lives. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit. Titus 2v11-12

For some, grace is simply a licence to conform to the world. As long as you have a false idea of grace, you'll always fall prey to fleshly passions.
Where sin abounds grace did much abound doesn't mean, "no matter the sin grace covers it". That's not the light in that scripture!

Rather, "where sin abounds the ability of God to live above it abounds." Grace is God's way of escape, so you can bear it. 1 Cor 10v13
That's why Paul can say "do not let sin reign in your body.. do not offer yourself to sin" Rom 6v12-13

Beloved, Grace is for walking in the fruits of the Spirit, not to gratify the flesh. If you're found in the latter, you probably are a victim of wrong doctrine.

Paul said, "righteousness according to the law blameless!". That's before Grace came. How about now that Grace has come?
