I’ve tried to say as little as possible about this because the viciousness from anti-trans activists is obscene, but I want to make it very clear to my trans & non-binary friends that you have my solidarity, support, and vote with regards to updating legislation. I stand with you
I want to particularly mention my respect, support and solidarity to @shonfaye and @parislees. I’m honoured I have been able to learn from their writing and their experiences. I recommend my followers benefit from learning from them too.
I won’t be answering any of your rage induced questions on this topic, I have seen enough abuse targeted at trans women especially for simply existing. As a Cisman my input on this topic is less than worthless, but if my solidarity helps trans followers feel less alone, then good

Guys you can fill up my mentions with as much toxicity as you want, I’m not here to argue, I know many of my followers consider themselves “gender critical”, that’s your prerogative. I have sat in silence for long enough and I want my feelings on the subject firmly on record.
I am not attacking you or the beliefs you hold that I firmly disagree with. This post is not for you, it is for the few trans-identifying followers I have who deserve to know they have silent allies as well as vocal ones.
Trans people deserve my public display of solidarity more than the followers who will disown me for displaying that solidarity. If you wish to unfollow me because I support trans-rights, that’s up to you, but I won’t back down from societal issues I believe strongly in.
Not here to argue with or insult you, there’s no point tweeting articles at me, I’ve honestly read them all. This isn’t a position I’ve stumbled into, I’ve been supporting my trans friends for 15 years and I’ll continue to do so till I shuffle off this mortal coil.
As I said, if that’s a problem for you, no sweat, I hold nothing against you. But if you continue to follow me, you are doing so in the full knowledge that this account wholeheartedly supports trans rights. End of thread 🏳️⚧️ ❤️
