1./ @OzKaterji appears to be running a masterclass in narcissism. If you hadn't heard of him (I confess I hadn't) then he's the mouthy bloke that just smacked down a polite request from two lesbians who've spent much of their life fighting for LGB rights with abusive comments. 👇

2./ Now he's having a meltdown and anyone who accuses him of homophobia is threatened with legal action. But as a gay man I ask myself who really says to two lesbians, "fuck you and fuck you forever" and "I despise you". The idea that this is normal behaviour is absurd. 👇

3./ Scour through the comments of @ALLIANCELGB and you'll fail to find anything remotely abusive. That's why Oz has to dredge up a tweet from a founder from before the organisation began (Oct 2019) that defended feminists who decide to engage with the Right. But here's the thing.

4./ From the outset @ALLIANCELGB made clear we don't engage with, or take money from the Religious Right. Oz could have discovered that if he'd bothered to read our takedown of the myths and lies about us. It's really hard to find: it's on our website.👇lgballiance.org.uk/myths/

5./ So is Oz a homophobe? I note he's banging on about how some of his best friends are gay. By the way, @ALLIANCELGB criticised @BenInLDN not because he was gay (duhh) but because his coverage of a High Court judgment on puberty blockers was biased. 👇bbc.co.uk/news/education…

6./ Gays have most of the rights we need in the UK. But the idea thousands of years of religious disgust and social hatred for gay people has vanished overnight is ridiculous. We believe it's now found new outlets, not least gender identity ideology. 👇

7./ Are we wrong? Argue with us if you think we are. But when a bloke summons up the language Oz did to reply to two lesbians who care passionately about the rights of women and lesbians I don't believe he gets a free pass. If it smells like homophobia, maybe it is.

8./ Since my first 7 tweets someone sent me this rather stunning putdown. I place it here only as a suggestion that maybe Oz has form. I’m off to bed and hope he is too. Tomorrow is a new day. Sleep well friends, supporters and opponents x
