The issue with @neeratanden was never her tweets. It's her character
Any Democrat who calls Susan Collins, the most centrist Republican in the Senate, "the worst," is not a person capable of following Biden's call to unity and civility.
And Tanden's problems go deeper than just the fact that she spent the last several years starting Twitter flame-wars in a manner that could be deemed unprofessional.
For starters, there's that time when she retaliated against an employee who had the audacity to report sexual harassment by outing her at a company-wide meeting.
Then there's the fact that she's a deranged conspiracy theorist who has blamed everything from Hillary Clinton's loss to Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement on Russia.
Throw in the fact that she's a corporate sellout pretending to care about cracking down on corporations and that she once assaulted a journalist for asking Clinton about the Iraq War (Tanden maintains she merely "pushed" him).
It’s pretty clear Tanden lacks the temperament, manners, and self-control to manage the federal budget.

But moreover, and most importantly, Tanden isn't qualified for the job.
All of Obama's confirmed OMB directors either had prior experience at the OMB or the Council of Economic Advisers or in the banking industry.
This attempt to put such a partisan hack in charge of our nation's budget cries out for strenuous opposition. It would be a travesty to allow her to be confirmed. The GOP would be wise to make @neeratanden’s nomination a hill to die on.

We must never surrender to the New Normal…
The ‘dream of going back to normal’ is a ‘huge distraction’, says a writer for the Guardian. The inescapable Devi Sridhar, the public-health academic whose voice of doom is enthusiastically coveted by the media, speaks to us as if we are patients on a therapist’s couch-
– ‘it is perfectly normal to grieve for our lost normality, but denial needs to be followed by acceptance’, she has counselled.

No, We Don’t Need a ‘Reality-Czar’: Let Truth and Falsehood Grapple

“Truth…needs no policies or stratagems…to make her victorious.”… via @feeonline
The Times, the Biden campaign, the Democrat leadership, and others on board with the idea have come nowhere close to pursuing “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”
Yet despite a history of disseminating misinformation, clear biases, and suppression of those with different views, they would select the arbiters of Orwellian truth.

So who could be trusted as the reality czar? No one.

YOU should be ashamed.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, the ADL and AJc have all termed the anti-Israeli rhetoric of Jilani & fellow @amprog writers Eli Clifton, Ali Gharib, Matt Duss & Ben Armbruster to be infected with Jew-hatred and discriminatory policy positions toward Israel.
“Duss, CAP’s Middle East Progress director, wrote on ThinkProgress that “the entire Israeli occupation” of the Gaza Strip is “a moral abomination” comparable to the former Jim Crow South in the US.”…
For Matt, Serge, and Brian Duss, criticism of Israel is all in the family…

Some Maricopa County Republicans sought to censure Cindy McCain…
The county GOP did censure former U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake, who did not seek a second term in 2018 and who also endorsed Biden over Republican President Trump.
The resolution, mockingly, commended Flake “for standing up for your principles, but recognizes that those principles are not those of the Republican Party.”
