Qanon is an addiction for many of these people. You hear about parents who’ve stopped cooking, resorting to take-out. Whose heads are now buried in their phones. The ones who are spending lots of money prepping their households for when Antifa comes banging down their door. 1/3

This is a piece about older kids, but so many of these Qanon ppl have young, young kids. Elementary school. Such a formative time in their life. My heart probably breaks for them the most. They have no idea what’s going on. No idea their mom joined a life-consuming cult. 2/3
Maybe bc I worked in childcare for a v long time but I’m constantly thinking about how these young kids will grow up. Many will wonder why they’re not getting the vaccine like their friends. What’s going to happen when they get to the age when they realize something is wrong? 3/3
