A riposte to those who want MSP for private procurement :
MSPs for common grade paddy and A Grade Paddy are ₹1868 & ₹1888 per quintal respectively.
It amounts to ₹18.6 ~ ₹19 per kg to farmers for 1Kg paddy.
1Kg Paddy on an avg gives 400-450 grams of saleable rice.
So it means compulsory MSP on non govt/Pvt purchase for farmers for ordinary rice will mean a payment of ₹19 for 400 grams or ₹47.5 ~ ₹48 for a kg to farmers.
Now consider entire logistics — transportation & warehousing cost, the wholesalers' margin and retailers' margin.
A kg of ordinary rice will cost almost cost ₹80-85 for ordinary Indians. Is it possible ?
Ordinary Indians can't afford to pay ₹80-85 for a kg of ordinary rice.
So think before you demand.
MSPs will be there for govt purchase.
MSPs can't be there for private purchase.
Period.

Modi Govt's New farm reform law makes it compulsory for buyers to pay farmers in 3 days and the SDO/SDM to decide in 30 days of complaint.

Jitendra Bhoi, a maize grower from Maharashtra sued two traders under the new law and got his dues — ₹2,85,000.

Rice millers in UP are now buying their entire paddy requirement outside APMC mandis and offering higher per quintal rates to farmers than local mandis.
ITC is purchasing 85% of its soyabean requirement directly from farmers at rates higher than Mandis.

Few Facts :
The GOI has procured 310.61 lakh tonnes of paddy till Nov 26 against 261.48 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.
202.65 lakh tonnes have been procured from Punjab alone — 65.24 % of total national paddy procurement by the Govt.

Relationship between two sovereign countries via their sovereign Govts is a function of trade, commerce, people to people ties, military ties, strategic convergences, geopolitcal compulsions and the will of leadership.
India and the US are indispensable to each other.
India is indispensable to the US with respect to Asia Strategy of the US as well as for security of the Indo Pacific Region. Why ?
Japan — a Pacifist state with limited military can not contain and confront China.
No other power in Asia or Indo Pacific can counter China.
The US doesn't only need to counter PRC.
It needs to actively contain China in order to continue its status as the pre eminent power in the world.
This is something US — the executive, the deep state and the Congress will do at any cost irrespective of whosoever is President.

Not long ago, this killer of Kashmiri Pandits and IAF Officers used to be invited for dinners by the then Indian....you know who.
The same Yasin Malik was held by his collar and dragged on streets of Srinagar and continues to rot in Tihar for 2 years now in the Modi era.
In last few months, Pakistan trained and funded terrorists have been attacking pro India politicians in J&K.
While lives of pro India forces can't be compared with those of terrorists, Indian security forces have eliminated far more terrorists in last few months.
189 terrorists (26 were Pakistanis) have been eliminated in J&K by Indian security forces in 2020.
Israel eliminated less than 140 terrorists in 2019.
France has not eliminated even 20 terrorists in 2020.
The scale of India's war on Pak funded terror within India is far greater.

DRDO is on a testing spree amid India China standoff.
In 2018, RM had submitted New DRDO Projects List in LS. Many have been tested recently.
Most of the Projects will be completed before Projected Date of Completion (PDC). ImageImage
In 2014 itself, PM @narendramodi obtained a commitment from DRDO to make India missile import free by 2022.
DRDO was told to work on a mission mode.
In 6 years, DRDO's budget was doubled from ₹10,610 Crores in 2013-14 to over ₹20,000 Crores in 2020-21.

There have been 12 inductions & 140+ successful tests (10 in last 35 days alone) in last 6 yrs — more than twice the number of tests in preceding 6 yrs.
In 2 years,India will not be importing new Missiles except for already imported/ordered platforms having specific requirements.
