Because GOP #43Traitors didn't convict Trump, he'll wipe out GOP for THIS WHOLE DECADE.

In 2024 Trump is GUARANTEED to win the GOP nomination. The GOP base LOVES him. He then LOSES to huge to Biden

If GOP kick Trump out, he runs as INDEPENDENT in 2028

The GOP Senators KNEW what a monster Trump is, and still voted to acquit (see McConnell, Portman). They now own that Frankenstein's monster. He will sink them. Pelosi will not impeach Trump a third time - GOP will NEVER AGAIN get to disqualify Trump. He will now destroy the party
Trump lost to Hillary by 3 million popular votes when Putin was driving millions of DEM voters to vote for Jill Stein

After USA learned who Trump is, he lost by 7 million popular votes to Biden

AFTER the November election, Trump organized January 6. That COST HIM 10% of voters
As Trump lost roughly 1 in 10 of HIS OWN VOTERS because of the January 6 terrorist attack, it means his 2024 vote loss to Biden will be at LEAST 14 million votes.

BUT the GOP base loves Trump. After he loses in 2024 catastrophically, GOP will likely kick Trump out...
But EVEN as GOP is likely to kick Trump out of the party in 2024 - to stop Trump from running as a Republican in 2028 - Trump is ADDICTED to magacrowds.

Trump WILL run again in 2028 - as an independent - and rob GOP of any chance of winning in 2028 against Kamala Harris :-)

So if you missed it. Yesterday the GOP was presented with the only constitutional tool, to eliminate their Frankenstein's Monster, Trump and all the cancer he brings. Instead, they voted to hand the Republican party to Trump

The Election Gods took a non-election year, 2021, and gave us THREE huge election victories. In January we got the Senate (Georgia runoffs). In February the GOP gave us 2022 and 2024. They were given the chance to disqualify Trump, decided to abdicate and gift the GOP to Trump
So because of the Impeachment vote - GOP siding with a Domestic Terrorist - we win in 2022. Mitch won't get his gavel back, and Pelosi keeps the House

BUT ALSO - regardless of how 2024 plays, the maga nutters now have the GOP and Biden wins easy re-election for 2024.
So the GOP Senators faced an internal fight, and lost. That gifts us at least the 2022 and 2024 election cycles. Depending on whether GOP decides to cut that magacancer after 2024, tells us if they have a chance going into 2026 midterms, but they may have lost 2028 POTUS too

Ok, Trump

Now comes his revenge. The GOP made a grave mistake for 2022, 2024. Trump will now be liberated to go on a political revenge rampage. He will come after all his enemies.

He was STIFFLED since House Impeachment 2, by his ATTORNEYS who insisted Trump stay away from TV
The 10 in House and 7 in Senate who voted to convict Trump will be primary targets of Trump's ire

But all who failed him or spoke against him: McConnell now on TV' the words from Qevin McCarthy leaked into the press; Nikki Haley abandoning Trump etc. He will come after everybody
And WRONG political calculation by GOP. This latest Trump will be FAR more vicious. He will bombard the GOP into the 2022 midterms, primarying many viable GOP House members & Senators, bringing in unelectable Maganutters. And Trump will run himself in 2024 for Potus

So first Trump legal team resigned, when Trump tried to force them to do the big lie, that the election was stolen.

The replacement team's least insane lawyer, Schoen (Water Boy) resigned on Thursday night, after he saw videos the Trump propaganda team had prepared.
We know Trump called Schoen to get him to return. My guess is Trump agreed to remove the worst videos - which is why we saw the same videos all twice or 3x.

Schoen barely participated in the questions session. He is not present at the Senate today (observing Jewish Sabbath)
So this worst C-Team has been taken over by the Clown and alleged attorney Van Der Veen, who tried to bully the Senate. He is NOT the sharpest mind of even this crew of dimwits. They were not prepared for this possibility. His threat to call 100 witnesses was absurd

My take on the vote

Obviously DEMs want Trump convicted. Romney & a handful of GOP are going to join DEMs.

We also know Mitch McTurtle hates Trump and needs Trump removed from any influence in the GOP, and thus needs Trump to be disqualified from ever running for any office.
Because the DEMs case is so strong, AND what Trump did so vile (he launched a terrorist attack against Congress) - a longer trial would be to DEMs advantage and damage to Trump & Trumpism, and by extension, to GOP. It would be in DEMs political advantage (greatly) to extend trial
Also there is PLENTY of valid witnesses that could be called. DEMs would no doubt find a lot of witnesses who would not mind testifying - not like Trump's first impeachment when Trump Admin blocked any current staffers.

So why end now? Without witnesses?
