[PANEL RULING]: MD @LCCTollRoad says the Panel's ruling was clear and explicit. The Admiralty Circle Toll Plaza was never shut down. Rather, LCC was only asked to leave the Plaza untouched until the completion of the forensic audit instituted by the honourable Panel.

MD @LCCTollRoad Toll Plaza ever designated 'a crime scene’ by the Panel, as this would have warranted the total stoppage of vehicular movement at that section of the road, Vehicular movement has continued unhindered on the road since Wednesday 21st October 2020.

The ruling merely permits LCC to access the Toll Plaza to evaluate and assess the facility's damage and the renovation to be carried out.

[LCC WORKERS]: MD @LCCTollRoad says they have hundreds of workers, who have lots of dependents to take care of and monthly financial obligations to honour. Also, evaluation and restoration require time, and further delay can only worsen the Company's situation as a going concern.

Her elevation to the position of Ag. Chief Resilience Officer of the Agency was consequent upon the appointment of the erstwhile Chief Resilience Officer, Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki as the General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA).

In a bid to encourage residents of Lagos State, especially the Adolescent and Young People (AYP) know their HIV status, the Lagos State AIDS Control Agency (LSACA) has conducted Free HIV Testing Services (HTS) at the Ozone Cinema, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

The annual outreach, usually done in commemoration of Valentine’s Day, is designed to conduct free HIV testing and enlighten the populace on the factors associated with the virus as part of the Agency’s mandate of preventing its spread in the State through targeted interventions.

Whilst addressing pressmen at the HTS Center on Sunday, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), LSACA, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke noted that the outreach is targeted at the AYPs, as they constitute 43 percent of the State’s population.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. @Abi_Olusanya, has said that a free, two-week, mass anti-rabies vaccination campaign will commence on Tuesday, 16th February 2021, to curb the menace of the disease in the State.

Olusanya explained that the campaign is aimed at promoting awareness on rabies among dogs and cats since the disease is deadly and mostly transmitted to humans, through bites from infected dogs to cause fatalities, if not treated early.

The Commissioner disclosed that the need for the campaign arose as a result of increased cases of canine rabies across the State, making it a persistent endemic problem.
