Looking at the COVID death rates (PHE) from different counties there are some big drops in the over 90's.

But other age groups are variable depending on the region.

So East of England

Large drops in 85-90 & 90+
80-84 flattening. Image
East Midlands

85-89 & 90s big drops other groups very variable Image
West Midlands

90+ have actually flattened over the past 5 days or so
85-89 & 80-84 dropping sharply

Other groups slowly falling. Image
London all groups 80+ falling fast and others falling Image
Yorkshire & Humber, latest data for 90+ shows a flattening but is only one day.

85-89 falling well
Other Groups small falls. Image
North West all falling fast just latest data point for 85-89 has not fallen. Image
North East this was the areas showing least amount of falls until recent days. The 90+ death rate is now very similar to the 85-89 group.

80-84 falling fast other two groups are not Image
South East dramatic fall in 90+

Other groups also fallen fast. Image
South West

Big fall in the 90+
85-89 latest data point went up but is jut one day. 80-84 had a bit of a stall but latest data point down Image

COVID-19 Hospital round up, all charts are the daily percentage change in the seven day average. A great measure to filter out daily high / lows - still looking good.

1 - Admissions from the community
2 - All admissions England
3 - All admissions England Regions.

People look abroad to say what worked in terms of restrictions and policy but what did did Cambridge do right? If that is the right term, I don't think so.

They have had 55 deaths from a population of 125k they also have high population density
2/ So compare them to Cheltenham who have a lower population and lower density but way more deaths.
3/ Or say Havant, pretty much the same population but lower density but again way more deaths.

COVID-19 Deaths for ages 0-4

PHE England = 367

ONS England & Wales = 3
The only logical answer I can come up with is newborn deaths who have tested positive and then died with 28 days. But is not mentioned on the death certificate so not counted in ONS numbers.

I am saying this due to the 5-10 group is 1 ONS and 2 PHE
But what I find more strange is that the NHS England data states 28 deaths aged 0-19 but I thought the PHE england figures would mirror NHS figures.

So would include all NHS deaths then people who died in other settings. Cant imagine many 0-19 die outside of hospital.
