i've said before that one of the fave defenses of pundits now is "you can't prove i'm lying or disingenous and not simply ignorant as hell" and politicians adopt it too when they don't wanna do shit that they absolutely can do

the other thing is the dems are STILL in on the "you don't want a RICH person to benefit, do you?" which is fucking rich coming from the exact same politicians that were present for, and pushed for, "you don't want a BAD poor person to benefit, do you?" welfare destruction

the exact same reaganite policies but since everybody and their grandma went broke since then, instead of "you don't wanna help those lazeabout poor people, do you?" they switched the justification to "you don't want rich people to have public utilities, do ya?"

2. we already have several programs like that and curiously nobody ever seems to actually qualify for the debt forgiveness
