Since it looks like more eyes are appearing on this thread than normal, quick info:

"Tac9" is the encrypted channel SPD uses to keep people like us from hearing what they have to say. I'm not tweeting much not because they aren't talking, but because it's just noise right now.

My interpretation, but In the time I've been scanning, it's used 99% of the time when their actions might be scrutinized. For example, I've mostly seen it used when protests are occurring. It was also used both last week and now, when SPD shot someone.

The person SPD shot is dead. Officers will be placed on paid administrative leave.
