There has been an ongoing effort to classify The Babylon Bee as “disinformation” rather than satire. It has been a fight since Snopes started fact-checking us in 2019. They don’t do this to The Onion. This conversation between Wiki editors is illuminating. 
They desperately want The Babylon Bee to be censored. I wonder why...
I should add that these “fact-checks” from Snopes, USA Today, and now Newsweek, are done with partnership/funding from Facebook. FB has wanted us gone ever since we started going viral on their platform. They’re paying journos to give their censorship the look of legitimacy.
These are the kinds of disclaimers you’ll see at the bottom. Facebook has already greatly suppressed our traffic, likely using these fact-checks they are paying for to justify it.
