Hilarious Rush Limbaugh moment from his 2009 CPAC address -->
What the left doesn’t acknowledge is how damn funny Rush was. I used to drive between NYC and DC and his show helped time fly by. During one episode he was telling a story about his wife putting on makeup, and he told her ...
"I can't believe you're farding in front of me."

"I'm not farting!"

"You're obviously farding right now!”

Rush then said that in many states, it’s actually “illegal for women to fard while driving” and what an injustice this is.
As some of you already know, "farding" means to apply make up, but when you say it, everyone presumes you're saying "farting." This drove several hours of jokes with people calling in with stories about how they had just called someone out for “farding” in public.
I used to produce Laura Ingraham’s 3 hour show. It’s not easy to entertain & inform that long 5x/week. Finding this kind of hilarious subject that drives hours of conversation and side-splitting banter is the coveted talk-radio sweet spot. But Rush always made it sound easy.
He was also smarter than people give him credit for. He was way out-front of climate alarmists’ dodgy "science.” He understood the issue far better than the self-declared experts, ably & clearly explaining the role of natural variables, like the Pacific decadal oscillation.
His show was one of the first to break the ClimateGate scandal. His observation was spot-on: If you’re worried about global warming, this scandal should be a huge relief — as the alarmists were caught fudging data. If only …
The legacy media did everything they could to cover the scandal up, thus proving the importance of shows like Rush’s.

Even as they hated to admit it, his show towered over the MSM. Simulcast on 600+ stations in virtually every American city, he had an audience north of 20M.
In his heyday, you could combine the viewers of ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News, and they still wouldn't get close the Rush’s massive audience.
"I keep half my brain tied behind my back,” he’d say, “just to make things fair”

On a personal note, when his program signed up w/ Grabien a few years ago, it felt like we’d finally “made it.” I bragged about it to everybody.

Noon - 3 PM will never be the same on the AM dial.

China knows they can commit cultural genocide against the Uyghurs because they already got away w/ it in Tibet (banning Buddhism/the Dalai Lama, Tibetan prayer flags, marriages of Tibetans that aren’t to Han Chinese). The world knew but looked the other way.
I visited Tibet in 2004 as China was in the midst of bulldozing the country. Historical sites were allowed to remain only for use as a Chinese tourist attraction. Propaganda everywhere claimed China “liberated” Tibet in 1951 — from freedom, apparently.
Tibet is almost impossible to access, but definitely worth the effort should you find yourself in central China. The only place I’ve visited where I kept thinking, “There’s nowhere like this anywhere else."

A reader has pointed out to me that @Twitter hides almost all of the replies to my tweets. I’d seen this and presumed it affected everyone, but apparently not. Image
@Twitter Somehow Twitter’s algo is able separate out left-wing comments, which are not hidden. Take this tweet I posted about fake conservative Benji Backer. The replies you can see agree w/ Benji. @Twitter hides the replies agreeing w/ me
Also weird: the other day I was trying to read the replies to one of my tweets, and Twitter wouldn’t let me see them. (It said there were 4 but as you can see, I wasn’t able to actually view them)

For those just catching up: The media have been spreading misinformation as part of their campaign to suppress unauthorized opinion

cc @JoeNBC
@JoeNBC The media have alternatively claimed rioters beat a cop to death with a fire extinguisher and an American flag — neither of which we now know is true.

Meanwhile, as the likes of @AOC stirred up anti-police activism, an ex-cop was murdered during a BLM protest in STL ...
@JoeNBC @AOC Two LAPD officers were ambushed ...

Media: So funny, Trump’s such a pussy!

Pro-Trump rioters attack Capitol, sending lawmakers to secure facility.

.@Axios, reporting (?) on how America can “deprogram” Trump’s “extremist” supporters, suggests expanding cancel culture axios.com/newsletters/ax…
@axios Do these people not realize they’re demanding totalitarian thought control?
@axios We just need "an all-out national effort to dismantle” sources of ideas that "undermine faith” in “democracy”; private companies "must be unwavering in their commitment” to this cause.
