According to this website, it's steadily restoring now back to ~515,000—and anecdotally, I'm back in power and will be reporting again today. poweroutage.us/area/state/tex…
Compared to millions here in Houston, my wife and I've had it easier than most.

Our power went out for ~32 hours, including one chilly evening spent bundled up. Data was spotty. Downed traffic lights made driving treacherous, & the city's still on a boil-water notice.
But we're healthy, have a bottled-water supply, and were reasonably prepared for an event that had little advanced warning.

One handy item that kept us informed when our devices were down: a crank radio tuned into Houston Public Media
We charged our devices when we could and warmed up in the car. Discomforts and nuisances for us have been deadly for the sick, poor, elderly, and incarcerated. I plan to dig into those effects now that I am back on the grid.

We're being careful about the water situation.
Like much of country, I'm learning more about ERCOT, the Texas power grid, and the "Midnight Connection."

At a Zoom press conference right now, @MassAGO Maura Healey notes the "turbocharging" language is McKinsey's own word in relation to sales. She says the settlement eclipses the money they made on the contract.
Healey notes McKinsey is a "big deal," given their clout in the government and private sector.

Other AGs on the line:

Colorado's top prosecutor Phil Weiser up now.
Weiser:

When others said maybe we should slow down the push for these deadly drugs, McKinsey didn't.

And when the probe heated up, the firm's partners deleted docs.

"These partners acted reprehensibly."

McKinsey says the partners were terminated.

NEW, on my @LawCrimeNews podcast 'Objections':

'Unity Requires Accountability': Sen. @RonWyden predicts the release of CIA's Jamal Khashoggi report in "a matter of weeks."

Plus, Wyden on Halkbank, Jared Kushner and Qatar, and impeachment. open.spotify.com/episode/5MP4XK…
The first time I spoke to Senator Wyden was before Trump's first impeachment trial.

Now, I'm interview him before the Trump's second impeachment trial.

It's Groundhog Day, again—with a couple differences.
