The Vimana of Brihadisvara Temple of Tanjore is an Archrtectural Wonder as the 43,000 tons of granaite stone held together by dry masonary raiesd to a height of 60.96m.

It is the tallest Vimana in Bharata,is topped by a 80 ton monolitic granaite top stone.
This 80 ton square granite slab of 25.6×25.6 ft is believed to have been hauled up by 6 km ramp.
The vimana is crowned with a copper pot or Kalasa plated with 24 kg of pure Gold.

Meet Padma Shri Dr. Haldhar Nag popularly known as "Loka Kabi Ratna". He has a amazig journery full of struggle and success from a Small Village of BARGARH, Odisha to one of the highest award PADMA SHRI.

High qualifications are not the measure of a person's intelligence.
66yrs old Shri Haldhar Nag is best example of that.
He is a poet & his poems are written in Kosli (also known as Sambalpuri & is the language of western Odisha).he known for prolific memory. He remembers whatever he writes.Five research scholars have based their PhD theses on him
was born in a poor family of Ghens in Bargarh district of Odisha. At a very small age,he lost his father ,who was only earning person of the family. He was forced to drop out after Std.III & work as a dishwasher at a local shop.
Even with all these odd he made a wonderful journey

Narmadeshwar Shiva Linga- found in the bed of the Narmada river in India which flows in the states of Madhya Pradesh. This linga is called 'Banaling',an iconic symbol of worship.Banalinga is also called the Svayambhu Linga as it is discovered in nature & not carved or
Crafted by human hands.

The strong waves of Narmada River hits the stones in the river and thus this Linga forms its oval shape. This process takes thousands of years together and it is so auspicious. It is belived tgat One can even here the water inside when shaken.
Narmada Shivling are quite strong and the hardness is a 7 on the Mohs scale.Researchers and geologists suggest that the unique composition of the Narmadha Shivalingas was due to the impregnation of its rocky river-sides and the rocks in the river bed.

Different types of NITI (Rituals) in Jagannath Temple PURI

The rituals are performed in Jagannath temple according to scriptures like Madala Panji ,
Karmangi & Niladri Mahodaya.

The rituals are mainly divided into 4 different kinds.
1.Dainandina Niti or daily rituals.
2. Samayik Niti (According to special days)
3.Rituals During different Festivals
4.Gupta Niti.(This rituals followed by particular & strict rule mainly during
Anasara )
1.Daily rituals includes 6 times Aarti,
7 Besha & 6 Dhupa.

The Flag of Sanatana always flies high in its full glory

Old Somnath temple is a legacy of our past,built by Ahilyabai Holkar located just outside the main Somnath Temple

It is believed that temple contains the original Jyotirling which was buried to protect it as the original
had been being raided several times by invaders.
Ahilyabai Holkar was deeply moved by the ravaged state of the temple & took on herself the task of reconstructing it. It is said she ordered to construct the the Temple after the location of the Swayambhulinga came in her dreams.

A Very Unique Ancient Temple Dedicated to Mahaprabhu Jagannath Bhitargaon in Benhata near Kanpur is famous as Monsoon Jagannath temple or "Rain temple."

Water droplets accumulated on the ceiling are believed to predict about good or bad monsoon season.
If the size of water droplets is big, it is believed that there will be good rainfall and if it is small,then drought may occur.Many research teams & scientists have visited this Temple to understand the phenomenon but no concrete conclusion has been drawn.
Devotees are mostly local farmers offer prayers for good monsoon and comes to see water droplets in the ceiling & pull the chariot during Janmastami fair.
