@Hadithoftheday Qarun.
Allah says in Qur'an:

"And We caused the earth to swallow him (Qarun) and his home. And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who [could] defend themselves."
(Qur'an: Surah Al-Qasas 28: Verse 81)
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Musa, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; thereupon his people said to him, Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant."
(Al-Qasas 28: Verse 76)
@Hadithoftheday Qarun was from the nation of Musa A.S.
Qarun was from the children of Israel. Qarun became a transgressor and tyrant against all the people of Bani Israel and he was one of the most transgressors during the time of Musa A.S.
@Hadithoftheday Qarun was a wealthy man.
The numerousness of his wealth and riches was so that its keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men which Allah mentions in Qur'an as :
And We gave him of the treasures, that of which the keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men.
@Hadithoftheday Qarun was advised by the men from among his people saying: {Do not exult} i.e. do not be arrogant or conceited with riches, being ungrateful to Allah the Almighty. {Verily Allah likes not those who exult (with riches, being ungrateful to Allah).
@Hadithoftheday Once when his people said to him: “Do not exult, for Allah does not love those who exult (in their riches)."
Qarun replied: “All this has been given to him on account of a certain knowledge that he had.”
@Hadithoftheday Qarun was arrogant because of what he had achieved. He claimed that it all thanks to his knowledge.
His love for wealth had dragged him into throwing aside his common sense and rightful act.
@Hadithoftheday Qarun claimed that he acquired all his wealth, through his own experience and through his own sweat. He claimed that he was the one that worked so hard for this wealth, he was the one who put effort to this wealth, etc
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:

Didn’t he know before that Allah had destroyed before him many nations who were richer, stronger, more stable than him? - Surah Qasas, verse 78
@Hadithoftheday Out of Arrogance, Qarun gathered his workers and slaves, and then he started to parade and march in the middle of the street with hundreds of people surrounding him carrying his wealth. & he was riding his horses that were all clothed in gold and he was clothed himself with gold+
@Hadithoftheday Allah shows His power, strength, and magnificence.
Allah caused the earth to swallow Qarun and his wealth while everyone was watching.
He had nothing. He had no company to help him, he had none to support him
@Hadithoftheday The story of Qarun is mentioned in Chapter Qasas of Glorious Qur'an.
Verse number 76-82 is all about Qarun, and people who wanted to be like him and wise people who warned Qarun about his arrogance.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; thereupon his people said to him,Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant."
(Al-Qasas 28: Verse 76)
@Hadithoftheday "But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters."
(Al-Qasas 28: Verse 77)
@Hadithoftheday "He said, I was only given it because of knowledge I have. Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked."
(Qasas 28:78)
@Hadithoftheday "So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune."
(Al-Qasas 28: Verse 79)
@Hadithoftheday "But those who had been given knowledge said, Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for he who believes and does righteousness. And none are granted it except the patient."
(Al-Qasas 28: Verse 80)
@Hadithoftheday "And We caused the earth to swallow him and his home. And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who [could] defend themselves."
(Al-Qasas 28: Verse 81)
@Hadithoftheday & those who had wished for his position previous day began to say, Oh, how Allah extends provision to whom He wills of His servants & restricts it.If not that Allah had conferred favor on us, He would have caused it to swallow us.Oh, how the disbelievers do not succeed
(28:82)
@Hadithoftheday Lessons:
Wealth of Qarun didn't help him. When earth swallowed him by the command of Almighty Allah, He had nothing. He had no company to help him, he had none to support him.

Crux is :
Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs

[Surah Al-Imran: 173]

@Hadithoftheday Gospel (Injeel).
Allah says in Qur'an:

"And We gave him (Isa A.S) the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous."
(Qur'an. Al-Maaida 5: Verse 46)

@Hadithoftheday Fridays.
Narrated Abu Hurayrah R.A said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “No one of you should fast on Friday, unless he fasts (a day) before it or after it.” - ( Bukhari and Muslim)
@Hadithoftheday "Do not single out the day of Friday for fasting, unless that coincides with a fast that one habitually observes.” - (Muslim)
It is makrooh to single out Friday for fasting unless that happens to coincide with a fast that one habitually observes.
@Hadithoftheday Singling out Friday as a day for fasting and its night as a night to perform prayer is forbidden. However, fasting on Friday is permissible in two cases:
1. If one fasts a day before Friday or a day after it.
2. One may fast on a Friday if it coincides with his habitual fast

A thread:
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ & his foster mother, Halima Saadia:

When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was still an infant, a group of ladies visited Makkah to take the new born babies to the open desert environment as per custom of the town.
Muhammad ﷺ was entrusted to Halima Sadia
Halima Saadia, from Banu Saad tribe, was that fortunate lady who took Muhammad ﷺ, then just an-eight-day-old, for foster care.
The other ladies of the group could get babies of rich families, but Halima opted for this orphan as his father, Abdullah, had died before his birth
Her companions were apparently happy with their findings but nobody knew that Halima was carrying a baby that was to become arguably the greatest personality in human history. He was gifted with blessings from Almighty Allah. And it occurred instantly.

Prophet Yahya A.S was honourable, chaste and was among righteous.
@Hadithoftheday Yahya A.S was born after his father Zakkariya A.S prayed to Allah for him.

@Hadithoftheday Iraq.
Ibraheem A.S was from "Ur", which is now part of southern Iraq.
In his time, the city of Ur was a flourishing industrial and business, centre. The people who lived there were a community of idol-worshippers, ruled by a proud, tyrannical king Nimrud.
@Hadithoftheday Ibraheem A.S was such an honoured Prophet as he was described as Khalil-ullah – the Friend of Allah (Qur’an 4:125).
Allah says in Qur'an:
And Allah took Ibraheem as an intimate friend."
(Qur'an. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 125)
@Hadithoftheday Many Qur’anic verses revealed concerning Ibraheem A.S suggest that his outstanding importance and high rank among prophets was because of the purity and sincerity of his relationship with his Lord, to whom he totally surrendered his will.
