Someone triggering you is not a good reason try to destroy their credibility and character. Your trauma is valid but responding to a trigger that wasn't even maliciously caused... by lashing out publicly is not a proportionate response. Your pain does not make you mature.
It is possible to be caused pain and be immature as fuck. That is not denying someone their trauma. That is not denying that people have mental health needs. You can have trauma and still use social justice for selfish reasons.
Using mental health as grounds to destroy someone is not healthy. It is using antiquated forms of public humiliation.
as adrienne maree brown says: "we think it will assuage our fears and make us safer if we can clarify... a someone outside of ourselves who is to blame... we can get spun into such frenzy in our fear that we don’t even realize we are deploying the master’s tools."
As said before, your "activism" aka desire to destroy someone publicly is not a replacement for your personal healing.
