Few days ago, Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu commissioned the very strategic Lagos-Ogun State Boundary Network of roads with bridge (Phase II) Old Otta Bridge, Suberu Oje, Adekoya & Makinde Street and surroundings.
Governor @jidesanwoolu says this project falls under the THEMES Agenda of this Administration which the “T” stands for Traffic Management and Transportation.
Residents of the Community showing appreciation to the @jidesanwoolu-lef administration for the huge transformation of that axis, which has eased Movement around there into Ogun State and others .. As u can see from this clip .. Heavy work was done on this project.
The 2nd phase of the Lagos-Ogun Boundary network of roads involves the construction 4 roads with a bridge to improve connectivity with neighbouring Ogun State while providing multiple travel options within the Local Government.
SCOPE: The construction of dual-carriageway road, with reinforced concrete drains, cover slab and walkway, on both sides of the Old Otta Road, which also has a reinforced concrete bridge component, ..
... as well as the construction of single carriageway inner roads with reinforced concrete drains, cover slab and walkway on both sides of Adekoya, Makinde and Suberu Oje streets,...
... provision of cross culverts and outfall drains at specific locations and laybys along Old Otta road, streetlights with power generating sets, service ducts, lane marking and kerb painting.
The road is parallel to the Lagos Abeokuta express road which serves as an alternative into Ogun State, and motorists can connect Ogun State thru Abule Egba Ekoro road & these Network of roads.
Residents of the area have commended the leadership of Governor @jidesanwoolu for this great work which has increased economic activity, improved movement, improved property value ... etc
The palliative intervention on Eko Bridge embarked upon by the Lagos State Government in support of the Federal Government’s efforts to replace the eight expansion joints on the highway has been completed.
The palliative entailed the cutting and removal of asphalt as well as the placement of a steel plate on the affected parts of the bridge, pending the arrival of the reinforced rubber expansion joints to be installed as a permanent remedy.

This facility, on the request of the Ifelodun, LCDA, this facility would be taken over by the State Government for effective Management.

• Medical Laboratory
• X ray room
• Ultra Sound Scanning Room
• Delivery Room

Lagos State Government on Monday warned residents that it would no longer condone flagrant abuse of building laws and regulations of the State.
The State Government said it has noticed that many residents are building without due recourse to state agencies for approval and therefore advised people to desist from violating building regulations.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has again renewed his vow to suppress any act of lawlessness and hooliganism across the length and breadth of Lagos State.
The police boss made the assertion today, Monday 8th February, 2021, while addressing and deliberating on security issues with the Area Commaders and Police Mobile Force Commanders in Lagos State.
