In this case as well, the press council of India team meet (not the victims, but) several people connected to the case and conclude it to be (like Kunan and Posh:poor)

May 1993, four personnel (Hawaldar Subarat Kumar Das, Naik Shymal Kumar Das, Naik Mohmmad Shauz and sepoy Pinhi Dey) of territorial army unit of Zainkoot industrial area of Srinagar are accused of raping a mother of 4. Court martial dismisses them from services.
22nd November 1993, Janwarpoor and Warpoor villages of Sopore are cordoned off by army. After the cordon, villagers discover the bruised and disrobed body of young lady (Mrs. Ganai), of Warpoor who had gone out to collect firewood. Post-mortem reveals brutal death after rape.
Eyewitness accounts regarding 5 soldiers committing the crime aren’t accepted (Amnesty report of 1993).
