For reasons that defy all logic, I am unable to subscribe to the @berlinerzeitung on my Kindle Paperwhite (the e-book reader which was the ONLY way I could continue to read, as my diseased right eye was progressively distorted by a non-cancerous growth. 1/x
I actually have TWO Kindles, currently - both were gifts from a friend who knew how useless my eye had become for reading, and thought either a #KindlePaperwhite or a #KindleFireHD might help, so she gifted me one of each. And both were - ARE - a revelation, for me. 2/x
The Fire HD is a Sony excellent tablet, with a gorgeous display resolution. But it's too large and hefty to comfortably hold and use in one hand as a pure e-book reader.
Unlike the Paperwhite, which is a superlative piece of design. So much so that, if I must... 3/x
... I'll get ANOTHER, just so that I can subscribe to the @berlinerzeitung (and maybe other German-language publications) on THE perfect (for ME) device. Because @amazon, due to barmpot design decisions, WON'T let me access all of my UK AND German content on ONE device. 4/x
So, @amazon - why IS that? Please justify this. Tell me that it's not just a cynical ploy to force polyglots like me into lining your corporate coffers even more? 5/5
Interested in your and for rewarding loyal former customers, @cryptocom - you know, the ones who bought and staked THOUSANDS of $CRO before all y'all tanked it early October.
2) Who then stuck by you, hoping that $CRO might recover... who watched with despair as the crypto booms of late December through mid-January had ZERO effect on #CRO's price... and who finally gave up any and all hope, and swapped to more worthwhile cryptoassets. 2/3
3) are you planning @cryptocom to include any of THEM in the regards for the brave new world? Along the lines of e.g. @Uniswap, who rewarded ALL prior holders of $UNI with an airdrop of 400 $UNI on the occasion of their v2 launch. You're planning something similar, right? 3/3
I realise you're all philanthropic and shit, and I'll not say a bad word about that you'd do well to remember that you got YOUR break thanks to Mommy's millions, and by being an utter Thundercunt to the creators of MS/DOS, so 1/2
@JoinRejoinEU@nvidia OK. Basically, high-performance Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) are not only great for playing the latest-and-greatest PC games in incredible glory, but they're ALSO perfect for inclusion in machines that "mine" cryptocurrencies. 1/x
@JoinRejoinEU@nvidia That's because the things that GPUs need to do to render in large-scale, fine detail, wide colour range and high frame-rates are... performing an unfeasible number of floating-point arithmetic calculations, accurately and at blazing high speed. 2/x
@JoinRejoinEU@nvidia Which also happen to be what machines mining cryptocurrencies need to be able to do. So, when a company like Nvidia releases their new, latest-and-greatest cards, PC gamers are lucky if they can get their hands on one, because they mostly play for pleasure, not profit. 3/x
@NTrialist Not this time, it would seem... obviously those awesome guys from @loopringorg want me to raise a little stnk. HAPPY TO OBLIGE, GUYS; HAPPY TO.
@NTrialist@loopringorg I mean, if it was ME, I'd want to do all I could to find out all I could about what had happened. But hey, that's just me.
I wonder is @loopringorg realises just how quickly a formerly loyal user AND public advocate can turn from an asset into a colossal pain? I guess we'll see!
@NTrialist@loopringorg My first tweet was eight hours ago, @loopringorg - and it's only fair to give you a full 24 hours. After which, of you haven't responded to me, here, or on Discord... well, let's wait and see, eh?
Hey, @loopringorg - I have publicly and happily praised your amazing project in recent days, $LRC is firmly a member of my #TenForTheFuture list of the cryptoassets that together show the best of the many thousands of cryptoassets out there. But your Dapp just ate 0.3 $ETH - why?
Here's the situation. I've literally just, within the last couple of hours, begun to assemble a wallet containing the following:
$1000 each of ten cryptoassets - $WBTC, $ETH, $ETC, $WXMR, $LINK, $GRT, $UNI, $AAVE, $YFI and yes $LRC, and
$10,000 of $DAI
2/x
Literally the first transaction I wanted was to use @loopringorg to swap $1000 of $USDT into, yes, $LRC, thus:
And that's the Dip, as far as I'm concerned. 3000 x $GRT @ $1.95. Let's see how THAT does, today, and I'll donate 10% of the increase in vale as of 5PM this afternoon to @MindCharity which, along with @ShelterBox is one of my "CoreFive" charities.
Before I forget (which I *had*, I'm embarrased to admit, until a few minutes ago) I made a pubklic undertaking, a few days ago, to donate £200 to @ShelterBox , representing just 10% of my one-day *paper* profit from a planned purchase of $GRT. Receipts:
