⚡How We're Scheduling 5 Podcast A Month Using LinkedIn ⚡
We added around $7k MRR doing this for only a month
I want to start off this thread by giving my intern @davidchacko0708 a shoutout for running this campaign and absolutely crushing it
He's booked a total of 10+ podcasts and has like a million more that are like 70% confirmed
Podcasts are an underrated form of traffic
- builds credibility
- more backlinks for SEO
- makes you look like an authority figure
- can draw traffic towards a VSL or a free trial and have a high conversion rate
STEP 1) build a list of podcasts that your ideal clients or customers would be listening too
- use Upwork and have a freelancer do this
- have them find fields like "podcast name" and "latest episode name"
- you need a link to the linkedin profile of the podcast host
So when we first launched this campaign we started getting on podcasts that we're not necessarily qualified
- not sales related
- more about creative marketing
- too small or no viewers
But then we changed our targeting and we have some major ones coming out very soon
STEP 2) upload the CSV file into ElevAAte Leads so that it can find the podcast hosts via LinkedIn and so that we can automate the connection requests
Since we're uploading the CSV file that contains the fields like "Podcast name" and "latest podcast episode", we can utilize our dynamic placeholders feature within our outreach
This is what our outreach message was looking like 👇
Our connection message acceptance rate was incredible
"Hey {first_name} - I really enjoyed your latest episode on your podcast ({Latest Episode})
Thought I would reach out and connect.
- David"
The reason this works is because our outreach is HYPER personalized
I can almost guarantee that they are not getting connection requests that literally name drop the latest episode
These are the type of responses that we would get and would allow us to comfortably make a pitch
STEP 3) Make your pitch to them why you should be a guest
Our pitch message I actually got from @rohangilkes
Basically we introduce that we really enjoy their podcast, would love to be a guest and then offer three possible topic ideas that we could discuss on the podcasts
Trust me, you will get rejected a TON but you will also land some pretty big fish with this outreach message
After getting verbal agreement, David would connect me with the podcast host and then we would schedule the podcast
During the podcast they typically ask where their visitors should go to learn more about me and I would always point them towards our VSL or our live demos
We did this consistently for a month and saw a massive increase in trial users that eventually increased our MRR by $7k
We signed one client & had around 25 new users added
The only thing we did different was do more podcasts
Outbound messaging metrics stayed the exact sam
So if you have a SaaS or a great service this is an easy CHEAP way to attain customers/clients
You can even offer podcast bookings to business owners as an agency service using this strategy

In this thread, I'll be going through the best databases to create your lead lists to prospect with for various niches
Some of the databases mentioned don't give direct contact emails & in that case just use a domain lookup tool to find the decision maker (Hunter.io or AnyMailFinder)
1) Most general niches Apollo.io and UpLead are by far my favorite databases for most niches
- they both enrich data before delivering it to you
- direct emails and a ton of other filters
