A big difference from other dog training shows is that throughout the 6 episodes of the Netflix series, the 37-year-old Oakland native also helps each dog owner with their own behavioral change.

When Christine Yano got to her vaccination site, she came armed with proof of eligibility.

But workers at the site denied her the shot. The letters, they said, could be fake.

“They basically said, ‘Try somewhere else, we’re not taking you,’” she said.
