The govt is starting a new program to allow anyone to report social media posts as "anti-national"
The program allows anyone to sign up as "Unlawful Content Flaggers" and report online content to the govt.

The govt will then go through that content and decide whether it's "anti-national" or not. They can remove it or take further action like arrests, which tbf the govt loves doing to anyone anyway.
2/n
What's more is that the "flaggers" have full discretion, so they can flag literally ANYTHING. Which means the IT cell will have a field day.
The program is rolling out first in, surprise surprise, Jammu and Kashmir, and then all across India.

This is a huge attack on democratic free speech. There doesn't seem to be much outrage at all, and if we want to preserve what little rights we have left, we should all be raising our voices.
