Staphylococcus Aureus, a very common type of this bacteria is found almost everywhere!

And I mean everywhere!

They are normal tenants in your nose, throat, skin and even in your intestines.

You can also find them on phones, door knobs, remotes, elevator buttons
But quacks around have led people to believe that "Staf Erus" is an STD, and that it can cause infertility and I've seen personally some relationships break up because one party believes the other gave them Staphylococcus!

This is a lie!
A common consequence of Staphylococcus infections are boils.

Other serious ones:(when they get access into your blood can be)
Heart infections
Bone infections
Pneumonia or lung infections
Bloodstream infections: especially when a cannula has been left in place for a long time
Some strains of Staphylococcus have developed resistance, why?

Emeka and Fatima just walk to the drug store and take antibiotics when it's not needed, these antibiotics end some, leave some, the ones left behind become more difficult to treat.

No use your hand, do yourself

Apparently, before now, there were plans to purchase 1 million vaccines to arrive next week into Nigeria, but there was a deadline and it was about to elapse.

BUA Group took it upon themselves and paid 1.3 billion naira for the vaccines and some people are not happy
Rather than give support and help us save the lives of Nigerians, it looks like the major worry is who is getting the accolades for getting these vaccines, rather than the lives that will be saved by this.

We are in the middle of a pandemic
BUA Group has paid for the vaccines, you were aware of this as a group and did not take initiative. Now it was paid for and the best option was to disown the payment? Why?

Seems like politics to me abeg and this is not the time for it, not when Nigerians are literally dying.

In 2015, I had just left medical school and gotten internship placement, it was the time for me to learn more skills and improve my practice.

Some cases you see change your life

I'll never forget this lady that came in with a swollen right leg, she had lost so much weight.
We asked questions, did our investigations and found out that she had cervical cancer, it broke our hearts. It had started spreading to other organs in her body and usually, at this point, her chances were looking bad.

She showed her previous photos, was so full of life
We talked a lot before she died, sometimes, when I wasn't on duty, I would go see her and spend the day by her bedside, talked about her dreams, her passions, she loved to design.

I noticed people usually have clearer visions towards the end of life

When you have a headache or body aches and you go to the pharmacy near you and ask for paracetamol, do you insist on a type or take what they give you?
I have a habit where I insist on M&B, “The Red One”.
My father was a chemist in his days and I grew up trusting them. I still do
When it comes to medications that you can get over the counter, I have noticed some people trust some brands over others, even when they contain the same thing, a pharmacist asked me this when I insisted on “The Red One”, My trusted brand.
When it comes to over the counter medications, you have to take responsibility for what you take, follow the instructions properly or the directions of your doctor or pharmacist. Don’t take it the way your neighbor asked you to, it might have side effects

A baby just died because a piece of groundnut entered her windpipe and blocked her airway. Her toddler sibling was trying to feed her while the mom was bathing

Here's what you can do if you ever come across a choking baby. This might save a baby's life.

A thread.
Step one: Call for help!

See, Shout! Call your neighbors! Scream like a life depends on it.

Step 2. Give back blows

If it's a baby under one year: Lay the baby face down across your laps and use the heel of your hands to give back blows
I have written an article on this before complete with photos and clearer than this, use this link:

When I started Aproko Doctor, some of my colleagues who were doctors said I was wasting my time

Years later, I've impacted hundreds of thousands of people, signed deals with multinational organisations.

Don't allow anyone talk down on your dreams.
Always #DoYou
You don't need to know everything before you start, all I had was my mirror in my room then, imagining I was talking on TV. It was the TV Box idea.

It wasn't clear at first what I wanted to do, but I knew it was going to be huge.
I opened a page on Facebook, it's still there. Wasn't getting any traction. I switched to Instagram. At some point I got angry, why were people who were "doing rubbish" having more views than I was. I was depressed! I had value, I was going to help people live longer!

You brushed your teeth, took your bath.
But you RINSED your mouth! With water

From tomorrow, try this:

Brush your teeth, but don't rinse your mouth, just spit out the excess toothpaste

Rinsing washes off the fluoride that actually works on your teeth

RT
It is the fluoride in your toothpaste that prevents your teeth from decaying and prevents bacteria from colonizing your mouth and causing bad breath

Rinsing off the toothpaste just washes off all the fluoride and your mouth is bare again, you'd notice your breath turns bad fast
Yes I know you are not used to it, you spent all your life till this very point rinsing your mouth

But if you try this, you will see the marked improvement in your teeth and mouth in general

You can wait a while before you eat

Trust me, this method will save you from a lot
