During slavery, when entering the church, a slave was required to put on a pair of white gloves. Whites believed that it was a “sin” for blacks to touch something of theirs.
Blacks would also work in the church as ushers. So on top of whites believing it was a sin for blacks to touch anything in the church, they also didnt trust them w/ the collection plate, therefore requiring them to hold one hand behind their back
During slavery, slaves also usually sat in the balcony and to get their masters attention they’d raise their hand. After being acknowledge the permission to removal themselves, they’d hold up the index finger to let others know this wasn’t an escape attempt.
The origins of pastors hooping and hollerin comes from the 40s-60s when a lot of people who didn’t go to school became pastors. Because they could read, they’d have someone from the congregation read a text & use “filler” information & emotional surgency to sway the crowd.
The origins of big hats in the church come from Corinthians 11:15. It started off as just white nets covering their head in the early 1900s and this evolved to hat wearing by black women in the church.
Blue vein societies were social clubs formed by light skinned freedmen(blue bloods) after slavery ended. Blue vein prayer circles was another name for a “light skinned church”. Deacons would be the “gate keepers” of these institutions.
At the entrance, during a handshake, Deacons would look to detect your veins through the skin which also could determine status. Silk stockings & gloves were too, apart of what “black elitists” traditionally wore to church to stand out
The Comb Test was a test that black churches mainly in D.C participated in which denied dark skinned blacks from worshipping within said church. Similar to the Brown PB Test, a comb would be hanging at the door & if your hair wasnt straight enough, you wouldnt be allowed in
In 1685 there was a ban put on traditional African spiritualities in the West.

During the seasoning process in some places, you had 8 days to convert a slave to Christianity/Catholicism.
Whites believed that blacks did not have souls and could not go to heaven, so for many years in different places, Africans were not allowed to be baptized even though that the tradition itself originated in Africa.
Blacks often repeat the myth that we’re a cursed race. Literal interpretations of Bible stories were common during slavery & whites often justified it by singling out the Curse of Ham/Canaan. The 1st slaves didn’t even come in 1619 (referring to the 400 year sentiment from 2019)
A lot of the modern Christian dogma came from the Greeks/Romans, the Council of Arles in 452 prohibited suicide of slaves. In America, this was often preached to Africans but suicide was highly common of the Haitians as they’d rather die than serve so many jumped from slave ships
It was 2 events during the 1800s(excluding what whites ignorantly call ‘paganism’) that led to the demonization of vodun: the Haitian Rev. & the 1864 trial

Next is a link on the Rev. & why it’s important. Whites heard of the Rev. in the US & said it was of the devils doing
The 1864 trial ended with the execution of 8 Haitians who abducted, murdered & allegedly cannibalized a 12 year old girl. The President at the time was a coon named Fabre Geffard who wanted to modernize(Americanize) Haiti & used this trial to push the end of “pagan” religions

Thread: The FBI and the creation of Kwanzaa 🎭
Before I get started, below is a thread of my other historical threads. Like I always say, don’t assume anything if I have not explained myself correctly. If you have any questions, ask.
Let’s start with 1965. Most people know who Judge Joe Brown is, that’s the year he got to UCLA. Only about 150 blacks were at UCLA at the time and he helped triple that amount within a few years.

Yesterday I talked about Madame Sarah Washington & her beauty empire, today let’s talk about Annie Turnbo Malone.

She was the founder of Poro Beauty & Poro Cosmetology school in St. Louis. She provided black women with their first true hair renaissance. Image
Poro is a West African secret society and the word means physical & spiritual growth

She came up w/ multiple revolutionary hair products such as the liquid shampoos & hair straightener (Wonderful Hair Grower). Image
Sarah Breedlove/MCJW was hired to sell Malones products in the early 1900s

MCJW would eventually go on to sell her own products, some modeled after Malone’s. For an example, she also had a product called “Wonderful Hair Grower” & because of this, tension between the two grew Image

The 1876 presidential election was close. In this election, Dem. candidate Samuel Tilden of NY won 250,000 more popular votes than Republican Rutherford B. Hayes. But the electoral votes in the three southern states of Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina were up in the air.
Both sides would accuse each other of electoral fraud & Republicans accused Democrats of intimidating African American voters. Because of this, South Carolina, along with Florida and Louisiana, submitted two sets of election returns with different results
Tilden had 184 of the 185 electoral votes he needed to win. To resolve the dispute, Congress set up an electoral commission in January 1877, consisting of five U.S. representatives, five senators and five Supreme Court justices.

Remember when I told you guys about how the US housed Nazis in America after WW2, using them as Intelligence agents on top of how they also used them in South America?

Read this before you move forward to what I’m about to tell you. A lot of this below is the work of US Nazis
Who all is familiar with Scull/Skull and Bones, the secret society?

These guys have an extensive relationship with Germans and it all began in the 1830s. ImageImage
Prescott Bush was an initiate of Skull and Bones and his rap sheet is longer than what I want to type.

But look up his relationship with August Thyssen and his son Fritz ImageImageImage

Thread: The Plot to Kill King
Just like I do with all my others....DISCLAIMER:

It is impossible for me, at this moment to give you everything but I will attempt to give you what you NEED to know. My sources include these below, as well as “Order to Kill” and others.
The US Army had a file on MLK since 1947.

Hoover plotted on RFK, JFK, & MLK as early as 1956. He wrote down their initials like above on his “prayer list” and had Clyde Tolson send it, via Senator Joe McCarthy to Russel Adkins & you’ll find out more about these guys in a min
