Founder Paul is back on the driving seat, talking about "product stuff". No release this past week but two coming this week: Tuesday's will include in-app Club creation! #clubhousetownhall

You can create a Club directly from your profile, without waiting for manual approval. Priority will be given to people who have been on #Clubhouse for a while or hosted many rooms. #clubhousetownhall

After that, links to your profile (so you can link directly) and to clubs (share away!). #clubhousetownhall

Adding features to allow users to say when a room isn't relevant to you (ie language, topic, follow-for-follow rooms, or just not interesting - a prompt to unfollow people will also be included). #clubhousetownhall

Notifications tray to become more usable (old notifications expiring, for example). #clubhousetownhall

New icon to be changed every couple of weeks instead of every few months. Time has been dedicated to scaling, but client features will be added more quickly from now on! #clubhousetownhall

Discovery: trending rooms. Are there any plans of curating popular/interesting rooms by the team? Suggestions of clubs, people, etc to be improved - there is a lot of work that can be done on all of those. Recommendations based on interests to come potentially. #clubhousetownhall

"Our job is to constantly serve you better recommendations, and to allow you to tell us what is relevant." #clubhousetownhall

Any way to see people you follow in a room without scrolling? "That is something we want to add in the future. You can also search tapping the three dots on the top right of the room. We would like to have a section for people you follow in a room."

Follow limits: what's the reasoning, any plans for changes? "Limits have been raised to around 2.5k, and there is a time limit too. Reason is so you can't spam other people. You should only follow people who you are interested in, you shouldn't do it just for follow backs."

"The more people you follow, the more rooms you'll see, but the more noise there'll be. If there's someone you'd really enjoy hearing from, you should follow them." #clubhousetownhall

Notification triggers: if you are in the audience of a room, this room becomes visible to your followers. That means if a very popular person joins a room you can bring people to it even if you're not speaking. #clubhousetownhall

"Big" room scheduling: is there a way to prevent several cool rooms you want to be in at the same time? "The hard part is when you're planning an event and another major guest comes in and you have no visibility over it." #clubhousetownhall

"Our job is to give you more visibility over what's going on at the same time, and give you better tools to figure out the ideal time to put on your show. And continue to open up #Clubhouse to bring more people in! At the end of the day, we can't control this." #clubhousetownhall

Room features and management questions. Room design: give us more details! #clubhousetownhall

Priorities: welcoming more people to #Clubhouse to have more great conversations (Android, localisation, tools for creator monetisation). Keeping the wheels on as we grow (performance). #clubhousetownhall

"If there's anything about the in-room experience you want changed, let us know!" #clubhousetownhall

Limit on room times: there is none. "I love it when rooms are organic and grow and shrink and move - they can go on for a long time, and all it means is that new people have been coming in and out. No reason for a time limit to exist yet." #clubhousetownhall

Listing start times for rooms in the hallway: "Reason we haven't done is that it usually isn't particularly meaningful; it could be misleading sometimes. We'll see how evolve in the future." #clubhousetownhall

Is there a way to limit the number of people on stage and max no of moderators? "We thought about it in the early days and decided there is no ideal number; people wouldn't be able to come up with new formats if you limited it. People in the community decide." #clubhousetownhall

"There are rooms with 20, 30 speakers that somehow work! We feel we shouldn't put a limit on what you can do. In terms of mods, it's trickier - there can be social pressure to make others mods and that usually results in a bad experience." #clubhousetownhall

"I think some people believe if you make others mods it will bring more people into the room, and that is not true." #clubhousetownhall

Can CH provide a list of actions mods took while the room was taking place? "Why? We intentionally don't show that because we want mods to be able to take action without fear of retribution. Another one we put back to creator first." #clubhousetownhall

"A list of actions could be useful to other mods while the room is ongoing." #clubhousetownhall

Android release (the big question!) and invites: "We are actively working on Android right now, really important especially outside the US, no exact time frame but in the coming months." #clubhousetownhall

"I'd love it to be a general release but likely to be same as iOS invites." #clubhousetownhall

Clubs: once the new self-setup feature is up, will old requests be fulfilled? " Yes, people will be able to do it directly and we can help them get set up right away! Thanks for everyone's patience." #clubhousetownhall

Club members v followers: "Only difference is that if you hold a private discussion, only members will see it. Otherwise it makes no difference." #clubhousetownhall

Clubs and monetisation: "When we talk about this we mean tools to allow creators to monetise. Maybe when you host club rooms members can tip, or maybe you can charge admission to one-time events. This will allow creators (founders or members) to get paid directly listeners."

How can members join the Creator Pilot Program? "This is a panel of the early creators to learn what features they want get feedback - like a focus group with a few dozen people. The goal is to open up these tools and features to everyone as soon as we can." #clubhousetownhall

"If there are any resources you need, just tell us! We roll them out to a subset of people first to test them, and that's the goal of the pilot." #clubhousetownhall

If I'm a brand rep or owner, how best can I use the platform? "Don't create accounts for a brand! Every account should be a person. But brands should create clubs and host conversations to bring people together in amazing ways." #clubhousetownhall

"Get in touch using partnerships@joinclubhouse to set up a club and speak to us about how we can help. If you have any ideas, contact us and we can talk through it." #clubhousetownhall

Trust and safety: how is reporting investigated in #clubhouse and how are ban periods enforced? "Users report things and we want to have as little data as possible about users and rooms; if someone reports something to support the investigation we have a temp encrypted buffer..."

"...audio to be able to check. The support team investigates incidents and takes action as required. We have detailed internal guidelines that work as decision trees for each case, based on learnings and feedback." #clubhousetownhall

Any data shared with commercial partners, or plans for this in the future? "NO! We do not share data with any third parties and try to collect as little data as possible. We don't want to build a business based on ads." #clubhousetownhall

Blocking: "Users don't know when they're blocked by others, but if there's a reason to change please give us feedback!" #clubhousetownhall

What is one type of content you would like to see more of? "Voice is such a flexible medium! The range of formats and room types people have come up is incredible - anything you can do on radio, podcasts, theatres, churches, seminars, etc, is possible here." #clubhousetownhall

"If I were to pick one I'd like to see more of is daily news programming. If you think about radio, you have morning and evening commute shows - you could see the same on #Clubhouse. Late night talk shows that bring you the news as jokes!" #clubhousetownhall

"If you want to build a following, a really good way is to have a reliable slot every day and read and comment on the news." #clubhousetownhall
