Sacramento @officialSCUSD promotes an “anti-racist classroom,” @DrIbram + his divisive critical race theory, which dismisses Asians as “white adjacent.”

A teacher just used “slant eyes” to depict “Chinese” and “Japanese” people.

Let me chronicle why this is no coincidence.👇🏽

“If your eyes go up, you’re Chinese,” teacher Nicole Burkett said, stretching her eyes out + upwards. “If they go down, they’re Japanese. If they’re just straight, you don’t know.”

Is this some racist school district? I did a simple Google search of Sacramento school district and racism....and like school districts around the country, last June 2020, it announced "racial and social justice supports" after George Floyd's death.

To meet its "Equity & Access Guiding Principles," the Sacramento school district frames the conversation" on one race. Can you achieve "justice" that way? No. That's the myopia, bigotry + racism of critical race theory.

After June 2020, the school district started promoting "The Anti-Racist Classroom," hyping the divisive prophets of critical race theory, including Angela Davis + Ibram Kendi. They tell staff to sign a "Pledge to be Anti-Racist," the Kool-Aid of Kendi.

They now sell the critical race theory sold by @splcenter, first branded "Teaching Tolerance," and now with no hiding what they are doing, it's called "Learning for Justice."

With just a few clicks, you find the divisiveness of critical race theory. Sacramento school district promotes the segregation of staff and others into "racial affinity groups" as a good way to process emotions like "white racial awakening."

Does critical race theory offer answers to teachers like the one who expressed "slanty eyes" bigotry? No. It dehumanizes individuals, including Asian Americans, calling us "white adjacent." Critical race theory is a poison that promotes its own racism. It's got to go.
