Confront Your Victim Mentality And Unlock Your Greatness

Tips for those that have potential but have to unearth it first

// THREAD // Image
From age 18 to 36 I lived as if things were

happening 'to' me. Not for me.

I felt powerless. Negative. Pessimist.

If you're reading this, you'll know what I mean.

It is a coping mechanism you learned.

Know that it can be unlearned.

Here's how to recognize & conquer it:
1. You Dramatize Everything

Look, I've been there. No judgment here.

You allow yourself to believe the tiniest inconvenience will

be the end of the world. You always assume the worst.

Guess what? The universe listens to those thoughts and

will give you exactly that.
Solution:

Take 10 minutes a write down 5 things you are grateful for.

Focus on things you do have.

Not on all the things you think you don't have.

Stop living in scarcity. Your life is abundant.

You just need to improve your eyesight.

Start with gratitude.
2. You Feel Helpless

I always had the drive, the ambition, and the goals.

I know you do too.

But when minor setback happen (they will!) throughout

the journey you never feel like you have control over things.

You create stories in your mind to justify these defeats.
Solution:

You know what you want in life.

If not, create that goal. That vision.

When you find yourself making excuses and creating

stories to let yourself off the hook ask yourself this:

"Is this taking me closer or further from my goals in life?"

Question your stories.
3. Negative Self-Talk

Oddly enough, I always felt like I had the talent.

I just never stopped doubting myself. Until I did.

If you don't believe you are good enough,

you will stay paralyzed and fail to unlock your potential.

Your inner reality shapes your outer reality.
Solution:

Here's what I did:

1. Write down any negative talk as it comes out.

2. Ask yourself: "would you say this to a friend?"

3. Reframe to a positive affirmation.

Instead of "I'm fat" say "I feel I need to lose weight and I'm

going to work out more, let's kill it."
4. The World Is Against You

This defined me. The system. The rich. The left. The right.

Whenever I tried something and I didn't perform as hoped,

it was always 'their' fault. Never mine.

Hiding behind external factors to give up on your dreams

is weak. You deserve better.
Solution:

Understand this.

Everyone can change
Action cures everything
Accept fears and obstacles
Efforts are always rewarded
Being average is enough to start
There is a solution for everything
You are the sole master of your story

Repeat these daily. Your life will change.
You have tried a bunch of stuff before, I know.

But nothing you try is sticking.

You keep falling back in the same destructive patterns.

Have that self-honesty and make sure you're not letting

precious time go to waste.

How To Stop Feeling Like A Failure After 30

Confessions of a former loser who's turned his life around

(& who believes you will too)

// THREAD //
You look around you and feel tiny.

You feel like your whole life is a chain of disappointments.

You feel your parents are ashamed of you, or at the very least you feel you're letting them down.

You've had some minor achievements, but you still feel 'inferior'.

I feel you.
Most people around you are off being successful, happy, and accomplished. Or so you believe.

They aren't.

Sure, they might have or earn more.

But you aren't what you have or do not have.

You are a collection of your experiences, your thoughts, and your actions.

How To Turn Your Life Around And Finally Start Winning

Tips for those that have repeatedly lost, but are ready to win.

// THREAD //
Look. I was you.

You feel extraordinary on the inside,

but your track record screams averageness.

You have tried & pursued several dreams,

but you were never able to stick it through.

Family and friends judge you.

Your confidence & self-belief is gone.

Let's change that.
1. Get Clarity

What do you love?
What are you good at?
What does the world need more of?
What skills have you learned professionally?

Stop selling yourself short.

Someone is looking for your skill, your story, your help.

Answer these questions to start the journey.

The 5 Keys To Pursue The Dream Career That Scares You

Lessons I learned going from a 9-5 to being my own boss.

// THREAD //
1. Define Your Vision & Values

You need to know what is most important to you.

You won't endure obstacles & fear if what you're

pursuing isn't aligned with what matters most to you.

Understand that if you go against your values,

your mind will cause you pain & frustration.
Don't take the handsomely paid corporate job where they

expect you to work 70 hours/week if all you want is to spend

more time with your family at home.

No amount of cash is worth giving up on what you value.

I chose freedom over the (initially) higher-paid 9-5 I had.
