On January 6th, 2021 the United States endured a deadly insurrection upon its Capitol, unleashed by its president. Insurrectionists are being arrested and charged, but what about those responsible for planning and producing the days activities? 🧵👇🏻
Settle in folks, this is going to be a morning coffee kind of thread. Here we go...

Prior to Insurrectionists entering the Senate chamber, there was a ‘rally’ at the Ellipse 📌1(put a pin in that). The rally had logos displaying My Pillow and Women For America First PAC.
This is a logical place to start if you’re wondering who paid for or who put this production together. We now know that the My Pillow guy is being sued for $1.3b for spreading lies about the election software used to count votes. Here is that lawsuit.
beta.documentcloud.org/documents/2048…
But that guy makes pillows and talks smack. Is he capable of putting on an event such as the rally prior to the insurrection? Unlikely.

So that brings us to the Women for America First PAC. Buckle up you guys...we’re about to spill some tea...
The Women for America First PAC is a pro trump PAC chaired by a woman named Amy Kremer. Who is Amy Kremer? Glad you asked. Amy Kremer was one of a stable of surrogates for trump in the run up to the 2016 election. She appeared on numerous media outlets on behalf of trump.
She was on tv with the Jeffrey Lord’s, the Jason Miller’s, the Katrina Pierson’s, the Kayleigh Mcenany’s all using CNN’s airwaves as a means to amplify trump, demonize Hillary, and flood the infosphere with whataboutism. Kremer was very good at gaslighting the nation.
But Amy Kremer is not just a tv pundit. Her website describes her as as ‘the mother of the modern tea party’. The Tea Party you guys. She is the mother of the Tea Party. I said buckle up earlier because we are going into the way back machine for a minute...
Back in 2010, Amy Kremer described the Tea Party movement as having a big tent. That they were not just religious people, but were atheists and libertarians.
npr.org/2010/09/30/130…
Well, after reading that, one word jumped right off the page at me. Libertarians. Back in 2010s, libertarianism was having a moment. Remember Michelle Bachmann and Ron Paul? They were libertarians. Safe to assume Amy Kremer supported them? huffpost.com/entry/michele-…
To a point. In that 2011 article above, when it came to supporting Michele Bachmann, Kremer thought the primary process would benefit from having more competition during the early stages. Early stages of the primary process, like the presidential primary process? The Iowa caucus?
Did something happen in the 2012 Iowa caucus that might be relevant for a libertarian candidate? Well, as history would have it yes. Very much yes...

Decoder: Candidate A was Michele Bachmann the defendants worked for Ron Paul.
👇🏻 👇🏻

justice.gov/opa/file/64316…
Wow, right!? I mean Amy Kremer must have been pretty steamed when she found out a libertarian campaign manager paid an Iowa State Senator to endorse Ron Paul over her candidate Michele Bachmann. I know I’d never want to deal with anyone who did that to me.
We all know in 2012, Obama won his second term and Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul didn’t. But did you know in 2011, Ron Paul’s son Rand became a Senator? And did you also know that he and Sen Mike Lee from Utah were working on creating a Senate ‘Tea Party Caucus’? You know Lee👇🏻
They asked Marco Rubio to join the Tea Party Caucus, he said no. They asked Ron Johnson, he said no. He probably had other things to do.
Anyway, if Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee are launching the Senate Tea Party Caucus who better to have there, than the mother of the Tea Party, Amy Kremer?

slate.com/news-and-polit…
But wait, did you notice the name in that article? It was John Tate. Why is this familiar? Because he was the guy whose name you just read in that indictment above who was convicted of paying the bribe so Ron Paul could beat Michele Bachmann in Iowa! (📌2)
So that’s Amy Kremer. She was the mother of the Tea Party, watched it become a Senate Caucus led by Rand Paul and Mike Lee and now she is putting on the ‘Save America’ Rally on the day of the insurrection...but is she?
Because the permit issued for Jan 6th says, it was her daughter who was in charge and the permit was issued for a rally called ‘March for Trump’. So now she is the mother of the tea party and the mother of the woman in charge of the insurrection rally.👇🏻

nps.gov/aboutus/foia/u…
That permit right there on page 5 subsection O makes her daughter responsible for any damage to federal property as a result of the rally. If memory serves, there was some. Like $30m. And I thought Ted Cruz was cold for blaming Cancun on his daughters. npr.org/sections/insur…
We were told during impeachment there was no plan for a march, however you just read on pg 2 of the above 35 page permit it was explicitly a ‘March for Trump’. 📌1 was about a rally on the Ellipse. An Ellipse is kind of like a circle. Were they planning on doing laps that day?
Twitter is barking at me about the length of this so I will try to wrap it up quickly and give you the tldr version:
Amy Kremer is the mother of the Tea Party.
She is connected to Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Ron Paul and Ron Paul’s former campaign manager John Tate.
She is the chair of the Women for America first PAC that produced the rally just prior to the Insurrection.
One final thought as we exit the way back machine and come closer to a present reality. I said arrests are occurring for those in the Capitol. Arrests with docs like this.
If you read that entire embedded thread, you learned the Oathkeepers sprung from a Ron Paul campaign staffer. In 2011. They were at the insurrection too. A 35 page permit isn’t issued without a plan. This was a major production.
One final thing here. You remember all that bribe business back in 2012? How John Tate et al, who was in the room with Amy Kremer during the launch of the Tea Party caucus? Yeah, he was pardoned by trump for that. He thanked Rand Paul. desmoinesregister.com/story/news/pol…
Thank you to anyone who has read this far. Well trained reporters can determine if this is all just coincidence. I can’t tell through all the smoke.

PS, here is an article from 2019 calling the tea party a ‘nascent fascist movement’. Given the above and the shape of this weekends CPAC stage it seems pretty clear what is happening here. alternet.org/2019/08/in-res…
PSS if you’re still on the fence about the GOP as a whole having fallen to Hair Fewer, remember the ‘normative’ standard is Mitch McConnell. John Tate’s partner in crime (literally) was a guy named Jesse Benson. Former campaign manager for Mitch McConnell. politico.com/story/2014/08/…
Ginni Thomas is also named in that article. She was supposed to attend the Inaugural Meeting of the Tea Party Caucus all those years ago. He involvement with these insurrectionists is not a new development.

Let’s take a wee look at trump’s inauguration fund shall we? You may have recently heard Jr and Ivanka have been deposed. But this could go way further than the kids. 🧵👇🏻

nbcnews.com/politics/donal…
This started in December of 2018. Two things that stick out to me in the above article is the information came from Michael Cohen just prior to his imprisonment, and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. You remember her...she was friends with Melania.

Here is the thing about the Tucker Carlson types. It is easy to simply dismiss something due to ‘lack of evidence’. This is a semantics tool. ‘Evidence’ is something that can be used in court of law. Tucker argues in the court of public opinion. A wee 🧵👇🏻
You see, in a court of law, there are procedures. Protections. 4th amendment, 5th amendment, 6th amendment. Lots of amendments to protect people from, well people like Tucker in a court room. But Tucker isn’t in a court room.
We saw this during the first impeachment trial as well. Doug Collins, Jim Jordan. It is easy to cherry pick facts. Facts can serve your purpose. If your purpose is to call election interference a hoax, you can say, there is no ‘evidence’ to back it up. Why?

What is telling about the Senate Intelligence Hearing this morning is how Marco Rubio, it’s new Ranking Member, references Russia but goes hard on the ‘Chinese Communist Party’. This is branding folks. He is seeding the altnews-o-sphere with this easy to repeat language.
Remember when China was just China? He is working to normalize the use of the phrase ‘Chinese Communist Party’ because it will have an immediate negative connotation for those in his bubble. This would be as if we began to refer to his party as the Republican Fascist Party.
He is trying to create a boogeyman by being concerned about the future while paying no attention to the present. By diminishing the role of Russia, and placing the focus on ‘CCP’, he provides cover for what he knows is happening right now.

Louis DeJoy is testifying this morning. Someone should ask him why these areas had such reduced levels of mail delivery during the period leading up to the election. Check out Alabama.🧵👇🏻 Image
Here’s a bit more on Alabama, if you’re interested.
And then there is this. Another way to say ‘Misrepresented’ is perjured.

During impeachment, it’s important to understand who the House Managers are. They are the ones to present the case to convince the Senate that trump should never again hold office. So let’s look at team democracy’s starting lineup and why it’s them.

🗣Get your program here🧵👇🏻
Our lead House Manager is @RepRaskin. Jamie Raskin is a constitutional scholar. A professor. He knows our Constitution so well, he knows it’s strengths and weaknesses. He has a bill to strengthen our 25th Amendment by allowing professionals to evaluate fitness of president.
So why is it important to have a Constitutional scholar as a prosecutor in the case against trump? Because the Republicans in the Senate aren’t even convinced the trial of the twice impeached president is even legal. They first have to be convinced the trial can even happen.

So, I was doing some research for something (I thought was unrelated 📌)and came across this...You guys remember Don McGahn right? White House Counsel for trump during the period he tried to have Attorney General Sessions fired for recusing during the Mueller investigation? 🧵👇🏻
This is a 2016 Forbes article wherein they question Don McGahn’s appointment as White House counsel. At the time they were worried about conflicts of interest. They used the word ‘consigliere’. 🐴🤔

forbes.com/sites/charlest…
Well here is not necessarily a conflict of interest so much as a pattern of ‘keeping it in the family’. DYK that the uncle of former WH Counsel Don McGahn was Patrick McGahn and he was trump’s lawyer in 1992 during an investigation by the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement?
