5. Mordechai Alkahi (1925–1947) was a young Irgun member. Athletic, he had aspirations, passions, and a bright future.

7. Jacob Weiss (1924–1947), a member of Betar and the Irgun, had rescued Jews from the Shoah disguised as a Hungarian or an SS officer.

He joined the Irgun and fought with them.

He was hanged on the gallows for liberating 27 fighters from Acco prison. 😢

Together with Eliahu Beit Zuri, he was executed by anti-Zionist Lord Moyne, Churchill's Middle East Minister, in Cairo.

The reason? To prevent the entry of Jews leaving Nazi Europe for Israel. 😭
