PART 1 OF THE MEGAFORCE RETROSPECTIVE IS NOW REUPLOADED!

What's nice is that looking at the list, it seems both Part 2 AND 4 are still up (Part 4 in particular it seems I attempted a reupload last year. Part 3, as well, but that one got claimed) so that's less work I have to do.
Mind you, the annoying thing is that for most of these reuploads, I have to leave them on my channel virtually forever, just privated. Deleting a video removes views from the viewcount, so with older versions it could mean a loss of 100,000+ views in a single day.
As I sadly have to keep explaining, the problem is NOT storage. ALL of History of Power Rangers is on vimeo, including the older versions of some of them (and accessible through my site). I can always find SOMEWHERE to put them.

The problem is money.
This isn't something I do for funzies - this is my job and I while it's a great job that I love doing, I put in hard work to do this stuff and I feel I deserve to earn money for said hard work.

Honestly, given the headache of ContentID stuff I SHOULD have stopped doing HOPR...
...a long time ago, but they're one of my most profitable and popular things I've ever done.

Beaten only by a single Longbox video that inexplicably has 400,000+ views on it because the algorithm decided to push it alongside a popular Marvel Zombies-related video
That being said, @AchineAn is right to promote Archive.org - it's friggin' FANTASTIC. I've found a bunch of lost media there before. Hell, all the clips from the Late Night Double Feature intro come from public domain movies hosted on there.
Ehhhh, not exactly.

There WAS a time when I basically declared "Sorry, I'm not going to try to preserve the old versions any longer." Because frankly their copyright usage and abuse is BAD because Blip rarely enforced it. The only reason they're...
...preserved now is because releasing new versions of them on Youtube slowed considerably for various reasons (ContentID being one) and I wanted people to still be able to access them.
Anyway, rendering a new version of Part 3. The good news is, like I said, last year I had already tried to edit it, so this time it's hopefully just the ONE section that got claimed and I won't need to do it again next year. XD
PART 3 NOW REUPLOADED. AGAIN.

Length of clips. It's ALWAYS length of clips. Older ones have clips that lasted too long and sometimes when they update the system they finally catch it. Other times the system makes a mistake and they THINK a clip lasts longer than it actually does.

Watching season 19 of Hell's Kitchen and God I forgot that the worst part of it is the pageantry in so much of the challenges. "Here's a hard rock band that screams ingredients! It's connected to food in a flimsy, vague way!"
Or even better: "Here's something mildly racist because we're focusing on a particular kind of international food! And now here are the chefs going whaaaaaat as if it's the weirdest thing ever!"
I like watching it, but man oh man every time I go back to full episodes I'm reminded of how much trash reality TV is. And this is just a COOKING show.

Fan theories are fun, but I'm more worried that it's only going to be a half hour long and there are A LOT of things to resolve - just like narratives within the show, interactions that have been built up, character dynamics... I'm worried about an unsatisfying rush-job ending...
...not whether Dr. Strange or Magneto or something shows up.
Not counting the VERY ending credits, it was only 40 minutes. Less that if you don't count the credits between the normal end and the mid-credits scene.

@GreatCheshire WELP, just finished. A few things I can add as someone who was actually talking to Doug at the time.

ONE: Yes, the marketing was one of the worst aspects that played into Demo Reel's initial rejection by fans. Aside from not telling the other producers about the end (those of...
@GreatCheshire ...us who were in the cast of To Boldly Flee knew, of course), we ALL knew that introducing this as the big replacement to the Critic RIGHT AWAY was a bad call. It meant that he needed to hit the ball out of the park IMMEDIATELY. Doing the build-up to it was good, but NC was...
@GreatCheshire ...the cashcow and we all knew that it needed, NEEDED to be great if people were going to stick around. Even at the time people were saying they were going to leave and stop watching because they ONLY cared about the NC reviews. They didn't WANT original content. But hey, we...

Basically: until it happens.

Until it actually, truly happens.

I ain't believing shit.

This is the Youngblood movie of Spider-Man stuff.

I'll believe it when it actually happens.

A lot of people are confused in the new episode about Elesa's outfit, saying that they think it IS just stripes on the front and showing off, since as a model she'd have unusual outfits. Problem with that theory can be seen in shots like this.
Either the front of Elesa's body is actually triangular or it's just a shirt that weirdly has stripes that are the same color as her skin.
Seeing it from the front sells the idea of it JUST being straps a little better... but man, her breasts would have no support and it still seems kind of iffy around her left one.

As per the vote, now watching Sadako 3D while I edit!

Unsurprisingly, first shot of the movie, where a guy dumps a woman down a well, is distractingly bad because it's done with the 3D gimmick in mind and since I'm not watching in 3D, it looks like a cardboard cut-out falling.
Opening credits are very generic "shaky, slightly staticy movie horror credits," even feels like I've seen the font they used, too.

It's over a guy giggling as he scribbles on walls and sews together white dresses (presumably for all the Sadakos he's been dumping in that well).
Actually, that's kind of an amusing point - we saw a shot from inside the well and he's been dumping women who look like Sadako in it so there's a great big pile of 'em. Reminds me of how in the first movie they needed to empty the well of water to get to her corpse...
