"Stealing is a bad strategy for prosperity. Getting money illegitimately will cut short a person's life (Zach 5:4-5)" This is why we have to do it right - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"Stealing has a way of activating a destructive curse on your life. Proverbs 13:11 "Wealth gained from get rich quick schemes quickly disappears but he who gathers by labor will increase." Meaning all those stealing today will eventually go broke - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"Many people just want to blow by whatever means. If you blow and now explode later what happens to you?" - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"The first step to turn your financial fortunes around is to align it with God's financial system. Align your thinking, align your transactions to God's word and that is where the Prosperity will come from - STOP STEALING." - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"The word STEAL means to take another person's property without permission, legal right and any intention to return it. If we think it normal to take someone's property without consequences, it will soon extend to taking someone's life" - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
Why do people steal?
1. Low self esteem and loss of shame. 2. They envy those who have money and feel justified to steal from them. 3. Under pressure to measure up to contemporaries. People are committed to proving & communicating what no one is asking @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
4. Mental illness called kleptomania. A recurrent and irrestible urge to steal without reason or economic need. Examples are wealthy people who still shoplift. 5. Some people are just hungry.
Stealing comes as a result of the sin nature and is contrary to love @kennyfolarin
"Comparison is the thief of destiny. God makes all things beautiful in His own time not yours. Your destiny is unique. Your destiny is different. God is taking you places and He has good plans for you. No need to compare yourself with others." - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"God's system forbids hunger. Trust God to provide for you. To ensure your basic needs are met. David said 'I was young, now I am old. I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread'. Trust God to provide for you". - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"If you truly part of a Bible practising church, you will not go hungry. Because you will get food through the home care system just as we do in @DaystarNG. In Daystar, we have a policy - No Member goes home hungry. We have a good bank to ensure that." - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"We have a collective responsibility as a Church, Corporate institutions, Civil Society and a nation to ensure that people do not sink so low to be desparate for food. This is because a hungry man is an angry man and an angry man is desperate." - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG
"We trust God to help Govt design this economy to enable businesses create Jobs so people can care for themselves. If you're an employer of labor, and people have worked till month end, pay them their salaries. It's scriptural. God fights on behalf of unpaid staff" @kennyfolarin
"God will bless our lives, our families and our nation when we treat people well. Every human being is an extension of God. So treat them well." - @kennyfolarin@DaystarNG

‘From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith.’
2 Timothy 3:15 NKJV
1. People are intimidated by the Bible for any number of reasons. For some, it’s such a big book that it scares them, and they don’t know where to start. Others think because it’s such an ancient book, spans such a long historical time period, and includes so many themes, that..
2...they could never figure it out. So let’s try to simplify it. Think of the Bible as a library of books that includes 66 volumes of widely varying length, written over a period of 1500 years, by more than 40 people from all kinds of cultural and educational backgrounds.
‘Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.’
Matthew 21:22 NKJV
1. You say, ‘If God loves me and knows what I need, why should I have to ask Him for it?’ Because prayer means talking to God and listening to God, which leads to building a relationship with Him. Jesus said, ‘Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; & all these..
2..things shall be added unto you’ (Matthew 6:33). When your prayers are based on your relationship with God, your needs get met. When you love God & spend time with Him, His Word says: ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard..no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who..
‘Speak to all who are gifted artisans.’
Exodus 28:3 NKJV
1. God told Moses: ‘You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. So you shall speak to all who are gifted artisans, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments’ (vv. 2-3 NKJV). Note the word ‘artisans’.
2. God gives us artistic ability you when we use it we glorify Him. Clothes ‘for glory and for beauty’ call for creativity. Stop separating the spiritual from the secular! ‘Whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord’ (Col 3:17). How do you become creative?
1. Not only must we leave room for unexpected disappointments and unknown variables in life, we must realise that inevitably we’ll be betrayed and hurt by other people. Perhaps they deceived us into believing they were trustworthy, or they began sincerely
2...and became infected with the viruses of jealousy and greed. In either case, you’ll face betrayal at some point along the way. Even the psalmist David wrote: ‘My best friend, the one I trusted completely, the one who shared my food, has turned against me.’ And included in...
3...the list of adversities Paul suffered in his ministry, are ‘false brethren’ (2Cor 11:26). Yes, as one author writes, ‘If you live long enough, you'll discover how fickle & selfish the human heart can be.’ And it’s often the people we love most & trust implicitly who have the
As problems arise in your relationships, you’ll be forced to become a translator, negotiator, diplomat and peacekeeper. Good com skills are essential. Nothing is more frustrating than being misunderstood, misheard, ignored, or misconstrued.
2. But talking isn’t always the answer. Sometimes it empowers the problem. Our mistake is we often give too much verbiage to the issue; in other words, we talk about it when we should be quiet and focus on a solution. God has given you the gifts you need to change the situation.
3. Don’t talk about it; instead, do it! If we misuse words or talk out of hand, it can lead us away from a solution we would otherwise see. James tells us that what we say has immense power for destruction. ‘The tongue…a little member…boasteth great things. Behold, how great...
‘Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.’
Philippians 2:4 NKJV
1. When it comes to the truth, you should be unbending. But when it comes to relationships, you must learn to be flexible. If you always need to be ‘right’ and make the other person ‘wrong’, you’ll never enjoy stable, long-lasting relationships. One author writes: ‘We'll not last
2..together because we were never wrong. We will last because when we were wrong, we found the invincible will to correct the wrong & the grace to endure whatever it took to survive it together. Our families are never perfect, but that doesn’t mean we can"t find a way to make it
