This is the size of the entire United Kingdom next to the area of my home town with a population of about a thousand people (the site adjusts map size for Mercator projection distortion). It’s almost as wide as Scotland. 
Sometimes people drive this far and back because they feel like getting burgers at McDonalds.
This is even wilder if you’re aware that that’s a poorly maintained single-lane gravel road that people frequently roll their cars on, and has been voted “worst road in Manitoba” in the past.
