Very pleased to hear that the Libyan parliament approved the proposed transitional administration.

The interim unity government will need to unite a fractured nation to improve the lives of its people, provide essential services, and prepare for national elections in December.
It is imperative that the world community support Libya, because a stable Libya is good for North Africa and the world at large. It is now time for all mercenary forces to withdraw from Libya, give the Libyan people the breathing space to move forward together.
Russia has been a bad actor in Libya, and I'm hoping that Russia and other nations who have supported mercenary groups will stand down for the benefit of the region.
 
Libya has been a good partner regarding terrorism, and it's now time to rebuild Libya.

With House passage of the COVID-19 so-called “relief” bill, it now moves forward to President Biden’s desk.

▶️90% of the money does not directly deal with COVID relief.
▶️Only 1% of the money goes to vaccines.
This is the first time we’ve been unable to achieve a bipartisan result when it comes to COVID relief.
This bill provides stimulus payments to illegal immigrants and prisoners. It also has an egregious reparations provision forgiving loans based on race and without any type of means-test.

There is no doubt that January 6 was one of the saddest days in American history. It will be part of President Trump’s term in office.
This was an impeachment effort driven by passion and hatred against President Trump.

In their drive to convict former President Trump, the House Managers totally ignored bedrock legal standards.

No hearings in the House of Representatives.

No witnesses.

No testimony.
And the outrageous claim the First Amendment does not apply to political speech.

Due process, at even the most basic level could have avoided this debacle.

It is my firm belief that the House Managers are trying to investigate the case AFTER it was brought to the Senate.

It is better for the country to go to a final vote.
However, if the body wants witnesses, I am going to insist we have multiple witnesses.
We can start with Speaker Pelosi to answer the question as to whether or not there was credible evidence of pre-planned violence before President Trump spoke?

In a matter of weeks, President Joe Biden has rolled back a substantial part of the gains it took years for the Trump Administration to achieve in the fight to stop illegal immigration.
The refusal to continue building the border wall and changing Trump asylum policies requiring migrants to wait in Mexico for their court date are formulas for disaster and will create massive future runs on the border.
The caravans will start to flow again, and America will be under siege once again by new waves of migrants responding to the Biden Administration’s weak policies on immigration.

These policies also undercut bipartisan immigration solutions.

Lawyers in the chain of prosecution altering documents – to mislead the Court – is one of the most damning things that can be done to the Rule of Law.
They clearly altered documents and withheld exculpatory information from the FISA Court to continue a false narrative against an American citizen: Carter Page.
