This is such a bizarre take & imo exemplifies how literal pop culture discourse has gotten
Like the impulse to point out that a comic book witch has violated the Geneva Conventions with her magic sitcom spell lmao. When it's left pretty ambiguous the degree to which Wanda had conscious agency in the spell or realized it was tormenting the other people at all
This point is reiterated multiple times, that the show fails to address how "grief can make us do terrible things." But no it doesn't. It addresses that, by having her do terrible things, realize they're terrible, and stop. That's the show
By "fails to address" OP is basically just saying that he wanted a scene where Wanda is brought to court and sentenced to jail for doing bad things, because in an excruciatingly literal sense the witch not going to jail in a comic book show = pro evil sitcom magic messaging
I can't fathom watching the whole show and thinking it's leading up to the other grieving character "condemning" the scarlet witch, however that is meant to have played out lol.
My main disappointment coming out of Wandavision was that its overall message about grief seemed a little basic. Basically that grief exists & feeling feelings is important. So the idea that that came out too nuanced for pop culture thinkpiecers is blowing my mind
& like in real life the "terrible things" grief can make you do are probably like... say hurtful things? Fall so deeply into depression that you require a lot of support? How would watching Wanda go to jail be more instructive than her apologizing & receiving understanding

Hey uh quick question pals did they really publicly state this in an interview and if so why on earth did they ever feel they needed to express that
I'm like absolutely floored that even a youtube video writing BTTF fanfic would include a gauche mention of the actor's real-life disease as though it's relevant, and then they drop the bomb that the real filmmakers have also done this same thought exercise
"I'm not making a real movie and it's very likely Michael J Fox would not be prepared to take on this film role even if it were offered to him, but I just want to clarify that due to his health I absolutely could not consider him for a role in the fake movie I am not making"

I think constantly about the Frozen 2 behind the scenes series and how it confirms that there was no unifying idea for the story as late as 3 months before release and that the exciting trailer was essentially animated concept art to evoke a general feeling with no plan in place
You can see the way everybody is trapped by the creeping immovable deadline and the fact that it's being animated simultaneously to production, so there's financial and time pressure to work around the arbitrary nature of which scenes are farthest in production
You see them doing peer screenings and taking feedback on rough cuts of the movie, but the purpose of the feedback isn't really to strengthen the story as much as to figure out what needs to happen to make the movie coherent, because it's too late to aim for much else

She is attributing her symptoms to a tree nut allergic reaction but she took benadryl, saw no change after several hours, and never used her epi pen. The first aid nurses advised that she go to a hospital and she didn't. They've announced they're visiting Animal Kingdom tomorrow
I'm not saying the channel name and I'm not inviting anyone to go harass these ladies if they find it; I'm sure they're nice ladies who think they're invincible and everything's good. But this is why theme parks shouldn't be open in a pandemic

I think it's time to celebrate Disneyland's Critter Country and its proud tradition of never making sense as a land
So Disneyland is divided into thematically strong sections, each supported by multiple attractions. Ideas like "fairy tale," "western," "future" are all pretty straightforward. A land theme would be chosen, and then ride concepts were created to suit it.
When they built Country Bear Jamboree, it would have best fit into Frontierland, but the space to build it was on the other side of New Orleans Square. So they decided to rename this corner of the park into its own land - a land whose theme was, Redneck Bears.

We watched a Disney+ film called Treasure of Matecumbe had the "outdated cultural depictions" warning and were like, ok, it will be natives of this island called Matecumbe, right, that will be it
The film opens and it's the reconstruction-era south, the main little boy is a plantation owner and friends with a former slave child, whose arc revolves around learning the importance of getting an education. We're like, ohh noo, I guess THAT'S what the warning was about
On the trail for this treasure, the boys encounter a snake oil salesman who dresses as a Native American and speaks a gibberish language. The boys do it too to earn passage on his boat. We're like, oh..... so THIS, too, then.

Last month G-FUEL - FUEL FOR GAMERS offered to send me a promo box of their new hydration products which at the time I was mostly tickled by as I am not a competitive gamer. Mere days after receiving my large box of G-Fuel what happens? Pandemic. Lockdown. Onset of symptoms.
I'm feverish, dehydrated, at times I can't keep any food down and I quickly run out of coconut water. Deliveries are backed up for weeks, I can't go to the store without infecting someone. Where will I get life-giving hydration and electrolytes? I look to the box in the foyer.
The flavors are Strawberry Lemonade, Peach Pineapple, Dragonfruit, and Blue Rocket Pop and on some days they are my sole sustenance. I drink them from a branded glow-in-the-dark shaker cup like a postapocalyptic alchemist. G-FUEL my elixir of life
